That's just what's happened with me. I've gotten about 4 emails from people saying how much they enjoyed my missions/campaigns, yet those same missions got a crappy score elsewhere. So don't give up. Screw 'em! [Gareth Gates must die] -

OFPEC is very harsh in the mission reviewing area. I've gotten a few emails and comments saying that my missions and campaigns were pretty good (like you guys) and they've gotten low ratings on OFPEC. So unless you're a scripting god and/or pay them extreme amounts of money, you'll get a bad rating... [Gareth Gates must die] -
Although I haven't used STEAM, I have to say I preferred WON's service. No downloading a program needed to join a TFC server... wasn't like that in my day! Oo-arr, etc. I need a faster computer. Games nowadays are getting pretty power-intensive (not that I'm complaining, it happens). Well, I'm happy to hear that Half-Life 2 is finally moving along. [Gareth Gates must die]

Nobody said Half-Life 2 was going to be revolutionary with modding. Games aren't just about modding, modding, modding. Half-Life 2 is going to be revolutionary in areas such as physics, graphics, AI and a host of other things. The thing I like most about Half-Life is it balances realism and arcadey action. Also, there are places where you have to use your head, unlike some other FPS games where it's firepower just about all the way through. I still play Half-Life and hell, even Doom today. Not only because they're great, but... well, no that's it. They're great! [Gareth Gates must die]

Probably. I hope so. This game seems like it will never be released. The thing is, nobody knows the official release date. AFAIK, no date has been set, yet. It's already been delayed for almost exactly a year (like the original... will this be a pattern for the Half-Life series?). It's about time they got the game to the shelves. I can't wait any more! Happened on the forum night. The mission: Rebels Without Cause. The operatives: Llauma, Bals and Skul (yup, it was just us 3) We were driving along to some place, when Bals, having recently ingested 4 beers, crashed into a sign post, completely dsetroying the car's ability to move (much like Llauma did earlier, after which, we shot the car! ). So, we decided to run along on foot. We take a left turn onto a dirt side road... except for Bals, who keeps jogging along merrily. So we stand there, looking at Bals workin' them sexy thighs. I look at Llauma, then back to Bals and send him a message along the lines of: "Er... Bals?" Unfortunately, I lost connection shortly after that, but the last thing I saw was Bals turning to face us. Even though I never got to see what happened after that, it was funny as hell. It was like some kind of comedy show. It makes me laugh thinking about it. Bals just running along while me and Llauma stand there, watching him disappear over the horizon. [Gareth Gates must die]

I'm doing an HNC (Higher National Certificate) Computing Course. It's okay, but the Pascal language kills me! I see no practical use for it, the way they're teaching us! A few hundred number adding codes is basically all it is... hell, I got three (THREE! ) hours of it tomorrow morning (MORNING! )! As you can probably tell, it's driving me crazy (CRAZY! )! Must... resist urge... to shoot self..... [Gareth Gates must die]

Avon, what the heck is that? An exerpt from a mission.sqm??! Err... I think what Avon is trying to say, UKSubmariner, is something like this: In a trigger, set the a and b axis to cover the units you want to kill (not too big. Whatever you do, don't make the common mistake of having a 5000x5000 trigger! ). In the Activated By box, select 'East' and then 'Not Present'. When all East units are dead, the trigger will activate. To make the mission end with objectives 1 & 2 finished, make a trigger with a and b axis of 0. Next, in the trigger which activates objective 1's completion, type obj1=true in the On Activation box. And in the second objective's trigger, type obj2=true. Now, back to the third trigger (axis' of 0). In the Condition box, type obj1 AND obj2. This will make the trigger wait until obj1 and obj2 become true. When they do, it will activate, so select the End# in there. I hope that's easy to understand. If not, I could post some screenshots to help explain it better. [Gareth Gates must die]
