Whenever I start OFP up I always get a message saying: Addon 'KEGepack_snow' requires addon 'KEGmakarov' What's that all about, then?
-
Anyone know where I can find the KEG_makarov for the KEG_snow addon? I downloaded Winter Nogojev, but the 'makarov' is missing. Anyone got any ideas?

Could we have a better heavy breathing sound, please? Right now, the soldiers sound a bit like a respirator machine!

When scavenging in Resistance, don't think... just grab everything!!! Get a truck or other vehicle and load as much as it can carry! That way, you don't have to worry about weapons, it's just the ammo you'll need. Just remember that if a soldier is killed, you'll lose the weapon along with him, unless you grab it.

The 'Never Show'/'Show on Cadet', those are for the map, usually. If you made a waypoint visible, then, a line from one point to another will be shown.

I think the heal and repair functions are fine as they are. I don't relish the idea of sitting next to a repair truck for half an hour while the entire might of the opposing army is coming down on me. Suppose you had to escape in that vehicle? Game over.

Leaning would be excellent! Worked quite well in SOF, although the AI was pretty stupid. It just stood there waiting to be shot, unless it saw you before you leaned round. </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE"></span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">I'd rather see OFP2 being totally a simulator with realism above all  That's fun IMO <span id='postcolor'> hmmm. If this is what you want then why dont we have it so that you only get one chance to play. If you die, thats it. you cn never play that game again. ever. it wil not let you reinstall etc. I think this would be VERY realistic <span id='postcolor'> Yeah! That would be soooooo cool! PUH-LEEZE BIS! Make it so you can only play and install the game once!

Another addition for formations could be to change the distances between soldiers, e.g wide/medium/close. Wide could be used to cover open plains/snipe the enemy; close to keep people together in cramped towns; stuff like that. 1: "ALL, FORMATION - WIDE." ----- 1: "ALL, FORMATION - MEDIUM." ----- 1: "ALL, FORMATION - CLOSE."

The demo got me hooked, then when I finally got the full game, I was glued to my computer. Seriously, I must have played through half the campaign in one day! I hardly noticed I was hungry until I was called down for my dinner. I took it into my room so I could eat during the game. Three hours later, I was still playing and my dinner was cold!

Although I'm right-handed, I think there should be an option make your soldier left-handed as well as right (like Quake II did). Also, switching from one hand to the other would be a nice touch. Also, don't forget the element of FUN!!! Since Operation Flashpoint is a game it can be unrealistic in some bits.

Does it really matter how the uniforms look? Personally, I didn't give a second thought to the Black Op outfit. I thought it looked fine...

How about certain high-calibre weapons which can shoot through walls and such, but can't quite get through tank armour?

Skul replied to Quantum's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
I know! And the search engine on the forum is a little too sensitive. I mean, look for 'car' and it'll give you threads not only with 'car', but 'carry', 'carrying', 'carriage', 'cards', 'Carmina Burana(?)', etc. Basically, any word with 'car' in it. I've read the Gold Upgrade Strategy Guide, and I finally understand a little more about what the different waypoint functions and settings do. -
TKers suck so much! One time, I was playing BF1985 and I was defending Heitlingten with about 3 other guys, then for no reason, one of them just turned round and shot me! I was like "WTF!? WHAT THE HELL YOU DOING!?" No answer. The other guys were also confused. Thankfully, they didn't tolerate that shit, so they shot him! And guess what? Then Mr TK shouted "WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" lol, idiot!

I'm creating a mission where I want the player to become the leader of the squad in a vehicle. Like when he enters a 5t Truck, he becomes that squad's leader, or when he enters an M113 he becomes THAT squad's leader. The mission is for variety. You can go in a 5t Truck, an M113 or an M1A1 tank. But I want to know how to make all the mukkas in the vehicle follow me. I forgot the command for this. TIA

And once they cross the line of protect they are up for kills.<span id='postcolor'> Hmm.. nice idea. Ya hear that BIS? Put this on your next patch/game! Also. See ya around chris330! I hardly know the bugger, yet I'm sad to see him go ( just like when PiNs left ).

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying every 12 year old is like that. I mean the bratty little kids who think they're tough (this was a problem that happened to me a few times in Team Fortress Classic).
