yes it is, I'm here for ArmAmods.net and maybe this kills some of the posts that have been going about how much 505 sucks in terms of signing for arma and the things they are planing in the future. I'm very glad that I have been given this chance and I look forward to write my review when I get back.

Well that's being political and I don't think 90% of the people give a notch about what day it is unless it would maybe be the 11. of September and it's a flight sim. @Bravo: No nothing like that and it would be just guessing and wouldn't lead anywhere. I like this idea as well. I can picture the scenery already. But the whole mod would require one of the "better" teams to get on this. (Not saying that other teams or new mod teams wont be able to get this done). I hope that ArmA will bring a lot of new faces to the modding community and I sure hope that this time we have good documentation from the start. The Wiki is a good start but I hope the tools will be in English this time. (Or some ref how to make language files for the tools) ------------------------------- Btw, any news on the Chicks?

505 has made no statement on the protection they will use yet. I think that's still a bit early for them to announce. I don't think they are that far already. Morphicon has confirmed that they will not use Starforce but have not said yet what they will use.

Actually you CAN order at amazon.de if you're in the UK. Just not US and some other countries amazon.de does not ship computer software / games to them.

Spanish has nothing to do with it if you want to really nail it down to the point and no the german version wont have spanish in it. Take the "maybe in the" out and you have a clear answer. Or make it "Expect another Article around the 10th of this month" I'm not joking and we have no secret information at all. But you see there have been some questions in that Interview that have been answered in the mail but not in the actual interview (not yet). And if we get asked not to share something right now maybe you can just accept. Cause this is how it works. If not you don't get the Interviews you see. All I can tell you is that we're preparing another article that will be released around the 10th and that's it. And it would require a Publisher that sees a point in releasing a SE... most I know from over there do boxed version but then a lot of them. It would require the US fans to get in touch with the possible publisher straight away knocking at their door saying "jo, so wotz gonna be in yar special edition buddy?"

I'd say we all learn spanish cause more people do actually speak spanish than english. It's a rumour that english is the most spoken language in the world. It could be also possible that the game is gold and marek decided that he can't be bothered with computer games any more. so he just deleted all files of the mainframe but doesn't tell anyone. It's also possible that some silent nija's climb into the BIS office just tonight and nickt the gold disc (if there would be one) and sell it to codies It could be also possible that there is a posibility in something being possibly unknown that for some reason is responsible for a possible delay... Or maybe I'm wrong...

Yes, 505 games seems to have some very good brains behind their project. I would say we can expect a lot more of interesting news from 505 in the near future. Thanks Jammy for putting this here, I totally forgot about it.

Yeah, all a question how good your project is setup and how well your logistic is organised

Sorry but need to add: Nobody was talking about taking any "steps" I just pointed it out to you that's all. ------------------------------------------------ As for the release dates. I think that some people don't see the whole task that is behind 505 games distribution contract. A lot of you are saying "give it to me I distribute it faster" some say "Poeple have never heard of this" etc etc. And there is the problem. 505 needs to get the PR mechanism rolling for this before they throw it in the stores and only 20% of the possible customers buy. Then they soon find themself selling this on 19.99€ around the corner cause it was a shop keeper for months. Don't get me wrong but I believe 505 knows exactly what they are doing and they will do it right to max sales and profits and at the same time supporting the community for some time to come. They have some good plans with some good brains behind it (I believe) and people should just hang tight a "little" longer. I understand that it is a pain to know that in your area the game wont be available on the 10th. or the 30th. of November and I feel sorry for you if you don't have the chance to get it from somewhere else till the 505 release or some kind of US or online release. But good things need time and I think it will be worth it. Until then get your OFP installation cleaned up and have a few nice OFP sessions to kill the time.... or get away from your damn computer for once in your life and get some sun before the winter comes ...

I can tell you right now that 505 will get this advertised quite well... you will see soon...

Some constructive critism then: Since you're doing a trade over your site (and even if it is non-profit trade) and since you seem to be based in Germany I would get a "Impressum" (according to the "MDStV") on the Site asap. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impressum ------------------------ I would also look into bringing all important informations "above center fold" on the site since that is where people look first and get their first impression of your site. generally, if people don't like what they see (from left to right) above center fold the chance is great they leave the site.

This site needs some serious updating. And the coding is plain html from what I can see. I'm also not sure how this would conflict with the distribution area contracts the publishers got but that's not my business

The idea of locals dropping their weapons and doing a runner if you outnumber them is good. I think we could do something like this with the "FSM system". I don't like the idea of having children around but that ha been cleared before and there wont be none (afaik).
