  1. In rules, the paragraf was pretty different - I just posted the exact phrase, to let you know, no one was aware of this as it is not part of written rules. At least in objective meaning of identification. But if you won´t change your mind, than I need to discuss your answer about that - the updated misson (some changes) seems pretty as a new one. I must know exactly what changes it must aquire. We are making remake of older mission with much new stuff and now have not time to make a new one. Does it have to be a new name of mission and hoe much (name + remake - can be done by anyone, or no same words can be used?) Must the main objective be changed? Names of soldiers? I don´t want to be disqualified just because someone say ... hmm I have seen something similar before... There must be exact rule which can be folowed and fair for anyone. I just planned to enhance the mission (some new/remade addons, anims, original music - mean having the right to use and not violation copyright, a few new events) and change logos and credits a for example "Anonymous creators presents" as by the exact phrase in RULES. I think this is a bit weird... when the mission is bad, nobody knows or remembers it. But I guess, any mission done in this style by us can by identified (i can´t say the probability) by some people who played it as it is not one of common stuff. There is one more thing. I plan to write to overview, that this version of mission is made only for competition purposes, as I usualy use credits and logos ingame aso. I dont mind, if BIS use the competition version, but i´d prefere to send nonanonymous version if it will be found as good enough to be published by BIS. By the way, I hope, BIS won´t use the situation and sell anonymous mission without any sign of author

    Let just say, that diving to ground in OFP is the common one, usualy done when danger is not so high. Under direct fire, you often fall down much faster (that I realised in airsoft), its instinct, which saved my virtual life a few times. I don´t remember any injuries, because it was mainly on soft forest ground.

    Very nice, the best ofp woman I seen in my opinion. I would have great use of black op version and later (this day Im not sure if for OFP 1 or 2, its qite big campign project) a joung partisan girl (just old as she seems now) idealy with civil clothes and B.D.U. version. A few different faces would be nice. Actualy, I think a partisan girl, would have wide use generaly. There is much space for imagination, why she joined the reasistance, who she were before, what she fights for in story based missions. And nobody can say, Infantry and SF is not for girls.

    Mk23 SOCOM ? where ? vietong. well have that game too, but they are for no good use with OFP. munchstudios .... !!! .... I remember some really amazing missions..... solid snake in OFP. loved them !!! I guess, it would take me some time, to find game where are enough people and only few snipers in Americas Army... I´ll find some socom. I´m glad you like our missions. I want this for the Socom pistol in new version of Hawk In Nets for the BIS mission competition.

    Yes, after release of Op85 I plan to set it free and make MOD config which will allow you to use moves in every mod and turn it off as needed. Cooperation may be welcome. Actualy, I hope so, because some of features of moves (position of radio (this actualy works bad due to repositioned RPG), bags,...) would be better when addon makers do some improvements. I hope, this would make some kind of standart. And I hope, that some BIS member will see it and think about making some like that for OFP2 on motion capture. Also cooperation with some animator would help, its lot of work and sometimes disapointment (for example I found that hands positions are different in 1st person view and 3rd person view, so you must remake a few animations frame by frame or hands are out of arms and still the hands look awful in 3P... i would like to kick the fool who did it right to his behind  ). It works easily, we changed back-right/left move to lean. There will be much more features in final version.

    It would better be a MISSION issue. You can make own scripts to create civilians around you and do random things. It takes some HW resources, so I dont want it as a inner part of engine. Of coures it's good suggestion for BIS mission makers (but i think they already tried it in Resistance in "civilian missions" like at beginning of campaign). Only part i think that can be hard coded is "civilian AI" which would differ much from soldier AI. For example those animals in VBS1 are said to react on some situation, so civilians could do the same, but more complex. It could be combined with special "logical triggers" such as escape point, bus station, danger areas (such as road...), randomly "attracting" points (shop, neighbours house, office, school) a.s.o. selectable in mission editor. Also there could be some "AI types" which could be true or false, for example: that person randomly stops and "talk" (anim) to each other or to be aggresive or fearful, bussy .... It would be useful especialy for "peackeeping" mission and would make missionmakers work easier.

    Wasting of "resources" (work and money). It would miss the point, if there are 2400 animations in style of old ofp. And at all, Matrix focused on anims, but the game was weak, OFP have many points to get focused on. I think, the point is to make those animations more realistic (such as weapon in shoulder!, position of AT weapon at back, proper CQB moves!). If you look at VBS1 trailer, I think its basic moves which are the weakest part of chain. Especialy sidesteps -> axis of body=axis of weapon and smoothnes ("Slow is smooth and smooth is fast!")! (i made my own, and the effectivnes in short distances combat is much, much higher), also forward move shown up here on deltas makes it better, leans to sides! and much more (AT weapon moves)... (well some kind of "leaping" to cover-objects like in Vietcong should be cool, but in other hand it would be usefull only in areas with many such objects). Those are anims, that directly deals with playability and should be priority No. 1! The second is to make it more nice - compatibility with weapons. A) - thousands of moves (waste of money and work) B) - some kind of script that would recalculate the position of arms to leap hands on weapon, using some sort of preselected points on weapon model... C) - only houndreds of moves and making basic categories of weapons with same or near positions for hands (and in addition use basic categories of movement for riffleman, machinegunner, sniper, (SF),... which could differ a bit at all I think that B and C could have future...

    Sets of different moves would be much work and quite expensive on Motion Capture. But at least, I'd like BIS to make improved moves in MC by real soldiers. This time, I'm making new set of anims, more realistic then those in OFP, but those made by professionals on motion capture would be better. Just one pic to show the amateurs at least, compared to real.

    Well, I will find sufficient, if the Aimprecision would be used enough in ofp2. It gets much more atmosphere, when you set aimprecision to 2-2.3 in prone, about 5-6 in crouch and 6-7 in standing position and you must put more effort to aiming. Also the range decreases as in real. Its nearly like playing another game, then the snipers must be good to kill at 400-500m at first shot (there should be bipod decreasing aimprecision to 1.2-1.5 when deployed).

    Please, can you write the amount of MB after each pack (even the default RTS) an the RTS site? My only chance to get such a big addon is to ask friend to download it and burn it on CD, so I 'd like to plan how many other big addons I can burn with this one.

    About chopper/plane

    I'd suggest some simulation of missiles targeting and locking. In real combat you must have some conditions for head of missile to find and lock target (it must move only in simple traces relativly to your aircraft), then just easily click the button for missile lock. Anyway, there should be simulation of fire-computers for aircraft cannos (calculation of colision point of target and shell using data from radar) and modern tanks (you have to point at target and follow it for a while, fire computer calculates relative angle of target's movement, lenght by laser and compares with ballistic characterisctics of shell, weather,... and aims the weapon; the player can shoot at even long distances very acurately). Sorry, if you hardly understand, I'm no english nor amercan... If you want to see details, study something about missiles, aircombat or modern tanks. I think it would make the air and tank combats much better, as it will force player to meet conditions of fire computer or missile / fire at long distances as 2-3Km in tank battles and improve realism. And something that MUST be in Flashpoint2! A-10 cannon GAU-8 uses nonexplosive uranium munition (but it makes high heat as it penetrate armour) which is much much more effective against armour. I made addon of A10 form myself with much stronger GAU-8, and it realy improves playability (especialy in desert) and realism. By the way it is main antitank weapon, beacuse it can attack more targets in one strike than Maverick (it needs some time for locking a target) and is cheeper.

    Weapons

    I suggest "interactive" M203 (or generaly GL) sights, where "+" and "-" sets how far you shoot. It would rapidly increase te usability of GL. And I forgot, incerease the muzzle velocity of M203 granades as in real. It can shoot 400 meters (mv= 76-79 m/s). Also the effect should be better even in standards of OFP1 (flying hot particles), only I'm not sure it would be a bit more demanding on HW.

    Well, many times, the wounded can't even move (abdominal and thorax wounds), but can be saved. This should have reasons for campaign like Reasistence, where are only limited numbers of soldiers and RPG (experience) factor.
