    As others pointed out, if it is textured then that is the final product but usually presented in Marmoset or other PBR renderer as that is where majority of artists present their work. Arma graphical engine works in a rather different way and thus the results look different.

    it might be true, but don't report it to the tracker. Mod supports only stable. Anything broken in devbranch or RCs will only be fixed after they become stable.

    I think the sound issue is a known bug and has been already resolved (or is an arma bug, cant remember)

    @HeroesandvillainsOS thank you for clarifying this for our really upset and disappointed mission maker friend. @maquez what hinders us is the fact that BI classes and names in no way reflect any true military unit structure of any of the factions we make mods for. Since we, you know, try to make somewhat a realistic representation, it's kinda important to us. We trust that makers of ALiVE can manage to code a system which is more generic and acceptive of more than just the vanilla setup. We have so much to take care of in our own mod that we do not have the time to cater to requirements of other 3rd party mods.

    yup its currently a game limitation what you are seeing. Simply fully trying the weapon should set the laser back on the rail.

    We cannot maintain multiple distribution points. The amount of data is too high, the demands on effort and time are too high. Especially if the problems people have are local and not general. 99% (almost 200,000 people now) of people and servers can use Steam without an issue. It is then up to the user to align with the distribution and solve any software issues. We do not want to waste development time to tailor to the 1% of people having issues, also taking into account that they also want different methods: torrent, wget, PWS whatever.

    Also, the BMD is made of an alloy of 91% Aluminum, 6% Zinc and 3% Magnesium.

    As I said might be a bug, but might have something to do with you shooting at the big ass engine in the front.If the hitpoints get triggered on the model thats what happens. You can clearely see that the engine gets hit and starts smoking.

    The M113 might be a genuine bug btw. So why not report it on the issue tracker rather then just show your displeasure here? Also, from your video it seem the UAZ explodes fine so I dont get what your initial complaint was about...

    eehh i dunno what you are playing but at RHS we try to base all our values on fact and not on balance. Everything from ammo penetration to engine parameters. If you are looking fr balance then RHS is not for you because real life is not balance. The fun in the game is finding an advantage despite unbalanced technology. We have no bias for one side or the other. We have a very scientific way of approaching this. Dont forget that the engine has its own quirks and sometimes weird things happen. Other mods also influence behavior greatly. But if these things make you lose interest thats ok :) its not for everyone.

    its the way the arma engine works haha. The only damage we actually simulate on top is ammo penetration.

    Far Cry 3

    Just got the chance to play through the main story and all I have to say is.... WOW. In my opinion this is as good as it gets. Just absolutely gobsmacked. - A very well written and compelling story - Some of the best and most developed characters I've ever seen, you can almost see the insanity in their eyes as the guy grabs the gun you are holding and brings it to his head and shouts "Come on man, do it!" - The environment is stunning, huge (and totally open as we all love here) and thought out to the smallest detail. Staring with abandoned WW2 japanese bunkers and finishing with ancient temples hidden underground. - Great voice acting and animations - Game dynamics just work (eliminations (stab a guy in his neck, grab his gun and mow down four of his friends), jumping, climbing, sliding, base jumping) - AI does what it supposed to, you can hide from them, they will try to look for you, sound the alarm chase you in cars, cant see you through heavy vegetation. Carnivore animals will attack them (shooting a cage open and then watching as a bear mauls the whole camp while dogs try to kill it was spectacularly satisfying). - rethought all the bad design choice issues i had with FC2 like enemy retaking the checkpoints. - great soundtrack 10/10. Absolute recommend to anyone who enjoys playing games.

    The size disparity is due to steam downloading compressed files. What is stated in the description is the total unpacked size.
