Maybe you are right, denoir but i think the soviets would have happily destroyed 3 of their ederly novembers or victor I's to get a hugely expensive Los Angeles class. Also, all soviet subs were double hulled (except the Alfa class, that has titanium hull, and some classes such as Sierra have double titanium hull), and they should stand the shockwave better than an american or british sub.

Is there an option to play with bots? If it doesn't i won't download it because my connection sucks.

There must be some kind of guidance sistem (maybe the torpedo slows down a few times to detect the target again and make corrections) The original russian one was meant to be a nuclear weapon. The idea was, when the russian sub detects an enemy torpedo, it shoots the Shkval to the bearing of the enemy and runs away like hell. Being a nuke, it would crush any enemy sub in a radius of a few kilometers. The export version can't be a nuke, so it must have some kind of guidance system. According to FAS it has some kind of autopilot, instead of a seeker head.

I wouldn't call a Su-35 or a T-90 a few "peices" of steel and duct tape with guns. (Sorry Denoir, i couldn't resist ) On topic: it's a great addon, fix the few bugs it has and it will rock. Too bad you can't shoot missiles from a boat in OFP.

It was one of the best gaming experiences i've ever had. I had been waiting for the game since i saw a preview on a gaming magazine a few years ago (maybe in 1998 or 1999). I started playing the demo mission and at once i thought holy shit, this is the game i've been waiting for my whole live!! When i heard the squad leader saying "contact! All, Danger" i really felt as if i was a soldier going to battle. When the russians started shooting at me i also felt fear of getting shot (unlike in games like Rainbow Six, where i just storm the building as if i were invincible). When we cleared the village i started to feel very good, i started thinking i was some kind of super soldier, so when the leader gave the order to go for the chopper i said "no way!", i picked up a RPG and waited for the tanks. When the first T-72 appeared i took my shoot, i saw that the tank was still going after me, so i shitted my pants and ran for the chopper. Running through the bush while mg and heat rounds hit the ground around me was another of the best experiences i've ever had while playing a computer game, it was incredible. I played that mission lot's of times and each time i liked the game even more than before.

Looks very nice. And about the nuke, yeah why not? Do it!!

I get 250-150 ping usually on my 256k adsl. It's not unplayable.

I would fight if my country was invaded. Also, if there was a civil war like the one in 1936-1939 i would fight against the fascists, as my grandfather did. I wouldn't mind going to another country on a peacekeeping mission, but i wouldn't invade another country.
