That's less than a KM away from my school. Area is pretty locked up. The tram I normally take to school didn't run, but fortunatly they had replacement busses. Last thing I heard was that MP M113's were on their way to the area. (described in the media as "tanks", hehe)

@ Frostbite Yeah, read a bit more now, I wasn't aware of the _constant_ discriminating of minorities, mostly due to the fact that I never bothered reading his stuff. ¬_¬ Then again, I did know he was very bashing-ish on certain subjects though but not that he was that extremistic in his words. This doesn't add up that he What's odd though, is the fact that the media is almost worshipping him with stuff like "he was a genius".

Not as far as I know, but they were indeed in favor of a much stricter immigration policy and 'control' of immigrants. I wasn't much of a fan of either Van Gogh or Fortuyn (I didn't like Fortuyn at all to be honest), so I don't know the exact details of their stances. But like I said before, noone should be murdered for stating his opinion.

Heard the news this morning when I got back from school. It's just outrageous that someone get's murdered for openly stating his opinions.

I kinda liked AC04, for your casual simple action flying while sitting on the couch. Not sure if I'll like #5 if it's more of the same... but those screens sure look nice ;) One thing I really liked about AC04 was the music in some missions (yes I know some other missions had rather corny music) Btw, is that stick PC compatible? I've been looking at replacing my old Logitech Wingman Force (had no luck finding one of those old Suncom USB Hotas thingies)

Unfortunatly, a helicopter class can only have 2 props/rotors, unlike plane class vehicles. Ofcourse, coding the aircraft as a plane would solve this, but I'd prefer to have helo movement over scripted vtol movement.

Hehe, that's quite similar to the original experiments I did But the problem of synchronizing the engine angle with angle of the rotors remains. So that's why I sticked with the fixed angle. A weird thing I've noticed is when I tested it with both rotors fixed in a 45 forward degree angle.... the Osprey raced backwards So I ended up giving the Osprey a fixed 10 degrees backward tilt in the config.

@ Miles Teg Well, when I was google-ing for some V-22 pics, I found this pic of a V-22. At first I just thought it'd be a nice paintjob for the Osprey. I later found out it was the USAF CV-22, wich is designed to be used by the Special Operations Command. @ all the other people Glad most of you guys like it I intentionally did not try any scripting for engine tilting or VTOL, because the whole project started out as a simple test to simulate VTOL without any scripting. I'm unsure if I'll be continueing to work on this though. Since it's only one of my 'fun projects' I work on when I'm not doing anything else. At first I never thought I'd actually get it this far. We'll see

@ para-trooper Note that I said "FEELS too modern" rather than "IS too modern" @ Cpt. Frostbite The SA58 was considered for CQB, but we decided to go a bit less sophisticated by making a FAL Para with a reddot sight.

Using the Remington has been pretty much deciced allready. As for the AI AW (PSG90 being the Swedish designation), I believe it _feels_ a bit too modern, if you catch my drift
