  1. The sniper rifles are very hard to youe over vast dintances. I think BIS should implament adjustment for the scope to make it realistic.
  2. Does enyone else think BIS should tweak up the accuracy of the M21 and Dragunov in OFP or implament an option for adjustments to the scope, that would give it some fell of realety. The sniper shoot their target at about 400 - 800m depending on the weapon system, position and terrain. In OFP i managed to kill a russian soldier at about 300 - 400m and that was after four magazines and i had to aim really high. I think BIS should set the accuracy of the sniper rifles so that the could hit something thats about 800 to 1000m or implament a way to set the scope for distance and windage. The snipers in OFP are not really efective or realistic, you could give them an Aimpoint sight instead of the scope.

    Air to Air Scripting

    Does enyone know a script that makes a helo explode in mid air and not start to smoke and drop dead like i usualy does when you use "setdammage 1".

    How can you use the napalm addon with other weapons than the cobra's armament? When i tryed my own script the apache exploded in mid air. (Edited by Swedish Mercenary at 2:17 pm on Dec. 26, 2001)

    Low Memeory - Help!

    Does someone know if there is a limit for the addons like a memeory limit. When i tryed to test my new swedish army addon the hole thing jumped to desktop and  showed me some memory statistics. Has enyone had the same problem? I think it's the textures or something, i used digital photos of my own uniform as textures. This is really bugging me...after 7 hours of work(mostly config.cpp) the dam game stops me from testing the dam addon, personaly i think it's a #### of an addon at this point but a can't test it yet.

    The men are to slow

    I know about those animations. The Sprint-Get down animation i ok but when you walk and press get down you sometimes stop and after a second you will get down. I want it to be a little smother in the movement and not so stiff as they are. I think they could speed up the movement and make it a bit smother, that way it looks a bit more human like.

    I think that the standing up and hitting the ground movement is too slow. I often nearly get shot by the enemy becouse it takes to long to lay down on the ground. Couldn't BIS mabe make the movement faster Another thing that I think would be cool is to be able to really dive to the ground when your sprinting instead of stopping and then geting down. Is that possible to make a new animation of a soldier divng to the ground when sprinting.

    Artillery

    I would really like som artillery units like the 155mm Field-howitzer type 77b or maybe a tubemortar and they could be aimed with the map. They could have a long reload time so one side wouldnt win to easy. The owitzer could have an minimum of 100m so it only could be used as artillery.

    First Aid Kit

    This first aid kit idéa sound great, but one thing i really want is to be able carry wounded soldiers to safety whith the "fireman grip" and treat their wounds in safety. Im sick of having to get/give medical atention in an open field during a firefight whith the russians and you also have to look for the medics becouse they don´t look for wounded soldiers.

    No pilot - no controls

    Imagine this, your out flying in your helo and your on your way to pick up some rangers from a completed mission, later when youre on your way back to base the pilot gets struck in the head by a round fired from a shilka but the helo is still in good shape but you can´t controle it because the pilot is dead. Can´t BIS implement a way to always have a co-pilot/gunner that can take over the flight controles if the pilot is KIA. Maybe they can make an "action" in the action-selection like when you choose "manual fire" or something like that.

    new weapons from wp1

    The names for the weapons i have tried in Weapon Pack 1 are G36a, steyr and bizon but the magazines doesn´t have a known name so you have to use the ammobox for the addons for now. The new M4 is just called XMS i think. (Edited by Swedish Mercenary at 8:08 pm on Nov. 8, 2001)
