The last change is responsible for unitReady bug. 1.41 - Fixed: Support for Windows Me ICS, Windows XP ICS, and UPnP-compliant NATs 1.41 - Fixed: Buffer overflow in XML parsing 1.41 - Fixed: limit for size of GameSpy Q&R SDK answer is respected now 1.41 - Improved: Expression evaluation optimized (faster script execution).
  2. We just discovered a bug in 1.41 dedicated server version. Scripting command unitReady does not work in 1.41. Scripts using this command may not work, especially when using @unitReady xxxx construct. In this case script will wait forever and will never continue. This bug is specific to 1.41 dedicated server executable and can happen only when unitReady is used in mission desing. This command is not used in any of official missions and it is probably not used in many MP missions, therefore it is vary unlikely it will impact you. Even if it is used, it will not cause server to crash. Therefore we still recommend to upgrade to 1.41 version, as it contains important stability issues fixes.

You can try to switch to 16-bit render depth, or try to fix the problem by reinstalling drivers / DirectX. GeForce2 does not support 16-b z buffer with 32-b frame buffer and drivers are normally aware of this. If you are using 12.xx drivers, you can also try turning on "Adjust Z-buffer depth to match render buffer depth". This option can be found as follows: Right click on desktop >Properties >Settings >Advanced > Geforce bookmark >Additional Properties > Direct3d setting. Best drivers for nVidia cards are usually those provided at http://www.nvidia.com site. They are probably better than Asus specific drivers. I am using 21.83 drivers for GeForce 2 and they work wery well for me.

    Save funtion for MP

I am sorry to interrupt, but what you are trying to do cannot work. Information that is relevant to MP is not stored in savegame file (like network object ID numbers, ownership information). The best you can achive this way is to continue game you started in MP as singleplayer. If join in progress would be this easy, we would implement it.

    1.40 Patch fixed

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">OFP.exe Control.bin resorced.bin now there were some side effects (unknown files that were updated), we'll need people to help we know some weapon/vehicle PBOs were patched, if some one could let us know we can add them to the zip below, no need to patch the mission files, it's not worth it <span id='postcolor'> I understand the OFP.exe file mentioned by is unchanged OFP.exe from 1.40 installation? In that case I see no major problem from our side, as it still contains SafeDisc protection and it is therefore usable only for legal users. From strict legal point of view it may be still questionable - you have no right to distrubute it in any form. I can provide you a list of additional files that has been changed: 1) BMP2 addon 2) most MP missions have been changed 3) new MP mission has been added Note: Almost all MP missions have "time left" feature added. If you will not patch them, it will lead to following symptoms: a) people connecting to your server will not see time left. b) people connecting to your server will be donwloading your version of mission, leading to increased connection times c) you, when connecting to fully patched server, will be downloading patched mission, again leading to increased connection times Strange thing for me is that 1.40 OFP.exe is recognizing CD well, but patch exe is not - both are protected by exactly the same version of SafeDisc protection.

    Script crashes OFP 1.40

The reason why your script is not working is that you are using _time in your script. Using _time local variable in script can be dangerous, as it is internally used to maintain time from the moment the script has been started. When you replace _time with _atime, it will work well. The exact details of how _time is used have been changed between 1.30 and 1.40. Scripts suspended by ~time condition now use much less CPU power than before, which makes possible to have more scripts suspended same time. I understand this is caused by lack of documentation on our side and I am sorry for this.
