    Oops, sorry my bad, I missed the LSD addon link from the readme and forum post. First post updated too now. U.S.S. Ashland LSD 48 -------- ofp.info There is no bas_6845 addon, what you need comes from the blackhawk or littlebird addon packets.

    This is aimed for Sickboy but I just quoted the information. I have yet to try out the new SIX_Misc'ed version of the tracers so I dont know personally... but if the above is true, then again I have to voice my opinion that it is not what I want. Sickboy, it appears that more and more people voice their opinion after the tracers go into this misc thing... perhaps you really should consider taking them standalone, if you like misc and stuff, it does not necessarily mean others like it too. You are restricting the addon freedom here by chaining the tracers into all kinds of body removals and markers (which I had no idea before). Of course default settings to the mentioned stuff in "OFF" mode would do the trick also. Again, just my opinion

    The campaign thats been under development for a long time is finally here, PMC Tank Hunter. Check it out, you might like it. This was now the second campaign due to release before we move into ArmA completely. Feels good to get it out the door finally.

  13. PMC Joint Justice OFP Campaign Large basic infantry combat campaign on all BIS islands. You play role of infantry squad leader in war against Russians. This campaign was previously known as "PMC JAM Appreciation" campaign. It feature weapons and team member status saved to the next mission. Many missions have additional support troops to back you up, including CAS and armored vehicles. This is now the first release to the public.     Yes the reason why I want to finish up OFP development is that I can devote my time completely for ArmA. I believe it needs to be clear decision of cutting OFP out. You go crazy if you jump from ArmA to OFP and back to ArmA all the time. And yeah, the future is in ArmA so thats what were editing after the final OFP releases are out. I really hate the fact that I had this increbible campaign manuscript here under works, which now never sees the light of day. Of course I can take the essential idea to ArmA but its not the same, everything is different there. Basically its easier to just let this one campaign slip away and look forward for other stuff... Actually at the moment I'm holding back even firing up ArmA to focus on the last OFP edits, hehe its killing me as I "cant" play any missions

    I think its doable to change the map size from 25km to 51km. I need to look into how Sgt.Ace did the Everon, cant promise anything though. I'm not sure about the forest objects, still havent searched any info about them heh. But I'm not sure if its good idea to add the OFP data3d\ p3d object into the island release pbo, I guess its small and everything, but I'd like this conversion to be "ArmA" first of all. It just takes longer time to do it, besides Sgt.Ace is already doing Everon and OFMan is working on Kolgujev. You dont understand how this works, its conversion... straight out conversion. So wheter I do one or fiftyseven islands, it takes exactly the same amout of time (if put on all together in one wrp). What I do in the conversion applies to all islands at the same time. Perhaps someone else can do it, like mapfact Are you telling me that some trees float in the air, in the SKY? I know some objects float a little bit, but I havent seen any which would be high up in the sky. Yes seems like many people request this, so even if this is straight out conversion, I guess we can adjust the island size to ArmA standards of viewdistance and all. Its little bit funny as you can see Kolgujev coastline from Malde airbase heh. So yeah next version should be on 51km island. However I would like to get some feedback on how far apart the islands should be in the larger area?
  21. PMC WRP Demo islands for ArmA 5 desert islands to demonstrate how huge islands and cities ArmA engine is capable of handling. Are you ready for 204km island? Readme: PMC WRP Demo islands This is island WRP technology demo for ArmA by [url=http://tactical.nekromantix.com/ofp/wrp.php]WrpTool Development Team[/url]. It will contain total of 5 islands which are the following: PMC desert 51km - 51.2km x 51.2km sized desert island. PMC desert 102km - 102.4km x 102.4km sized desert island. PMC desert 204km - 204.8km x 204.8km sized desert island. PMC Oceanworld - 204km sized area with alot of ocean and few small islands. PMC Mogadishu - City of Mogadishu Somalia, quite real road network. Also includes three missions and one campaign configured into the addon pbo. ArmA v1.07 is required to run this addon, preferably v1.07.5157 (2nd public beta). These islands are covered with desert terrain and vegetation suited for desert theme. The cities on these islands are huge and populated with ruined buildings to create that war torn feeling (first seen on PMC Rattler island). Purpose of this release is to demonstrate to the ArmA community of how huge islands and especially cities we are now able to create. The islands aren't really finished or "pretty" in a sense, but certainly they can provide enjoyable mission editing environment, especially it would be interesting to test how these terrains work in multiplayer player versus player usage. Mostly these islands miss airport objects and small details like that. Special thanks go Solus who granted me permission to use this nice desert texture, Deanosbeano, granQ, Smiley_Nick and everyone else who was involved in the WRP stuff, I proceeded this far with inspiration from you guys :) Tutorials on how to create your own islands or converting old OFP islands to ArmA can be found on our homepage along with other editing material. Thats covers it pretty good, but I'd like to add that while these islands are "unfinished", they are quite enjoyable and they even include couple of demo missions (how many addons you know without any? eh). The cities are huge, only couple of them include road network and the building locations aren't that precise as in other islands, however I enjoy the cities myself at this point (later they can be improved on other islands of course). The Mogadishu city has real road network created from satellite image, the buildings are the war torn burnt buildings and there are some distance between the buildings now so its not that claustrophobic, if there is demand for real hardcore Mog city, I can improve the building positioning and types. I'm planning on building "final" large desert island for ArmA in theme of PMC Rattler island, most likely candidate for this would be the desert 51km from this PMC WRP Demo release. Also I will plan to create good tutorial how to make islands for ArmA using the existing tools. Before you download, understand that these are technology demonstration islands, please do not come back complaining if they do not work etc etc. For example the 102 and 204km islands give some errors on arma.RPT file and in some cases cause crash, we have not tracked down why this happens, the 51km island works without any problems.
