  1. ok cool. what do you run your fans at for gaming? I have a gaming profile where I run my xfired 4890's at 900 for gpu and 1050 for memory at 60% fan speed. If I OC to 950 and 1100 arma freezes a few seconds into the main menu. If I play americas army 3 on any sort of overclock it freezes about a minute into joining a server. I've logged my temps with gpuz and nothing surprisingly high occurs yet the above still happens....
  2. i have a coolermaster haf932 and manual fan control running at 30% for non-gaming and they sit there at 50 degrees. Would that surprise you or is that still normal? room temp is around 25 degrees im guessing
  3. quick question...does any here with a 4890 or xfired 4890's idle at 50 degrees celsius?

    Who got crossfire to work?

crossfire works for me. and it improves fps greatly. On main menu with camera going all over the carrier and what not my fps has never dropped below 50 on that scene (all max settings 1920x1200). If i turn off a card it has dropped to 35 maybe less (same settings)

  11. Ok in my research I've found a bunch of this. And rather than try them individually I'd like to get a brief idea of what they are. I just want the crazy light bloom that fills my screen every 10 seconds to go away. Couple of you in this thread said to edit my HDR number in the cfg file. Others said to get a certain sun mod Others say to rename the exe to crysis.exe or fear.exe or forcesingleGPU.exe Others say to add -winxp Others say disable crossifre Can you guys give me an idea of what the fear and crysis exe changes and exe extension does? And which of the above ideas is most likely to get rid of the light blooming bug ty vista 64bit SP1 asus p6t x58 mobo 1.06BIOS core i7 920 G.SKILL F3-12800 DDR3-1600 xfired 4890's (game freezses within seconds on main menu if I try run it with video cards overclocked)

I'm not going to worry about my game freezing when I run it overclocked right now I just want to be able to play without the crazy glare/bloom effect that keeps occuring
  13. I have 1gb per card. Isn't that all 4890's? I'll check the amd forums and see what disabling xfire does
  14. Hey guys, long time player of OFP and a little of ARMA1 Just got ARMA2 as I got a new i7, crossfired 4890, 6gb DDR3 rig Do I have to install the patches one by one or can I just install 1.04 and start playing!
  15. hey guys so I bought arma2 just two days ago and have discovered this thread as I have xfired 4890's and suffer greatly from the "light bloom" effect. Weather i'm on very high settings or normal settings and have post-processing disabled it still occurs
