I really the hope you can force the AI to fire on a lased target whether or not the AI can see an enemy. I find that really annoying when working with AI. I tried putting some AI enemies in a building and then adding an apache as part of my squad. Then on the ground with my laser designator thingy, lased the building the enemy AI was in and tried to order the apache to fire on the lased target. No dice. This will be important as almost all structures are destroyable now in OA.

I if wanted to play against AI, I would play single-player. If I want to play against other people I will play multi-player. PvP just makes sense.

Question ACE people. This might my Warfare related in MP but not sure. But when playing Warfare BE with ACE and I order a tank or chopper, and order the driver/pilot out and take control, I cannot give any orders to my gunner, what weapon to change too, where to target etc Very annoying as I have to then turn on manual fire and cannot spot enemies near as well as my AI teammate does. What's going on there?

Just played for my first time last night. AAS is a blast! Playing against 100% humans is awesome. The unpredictability is insane, so intense! Thanks AAS guys.

Hm ok Well I just joined the Basecamp Server #1 and it worked fine. (I was the only player) and now I've just joined Armacalypse successfully too (empty as well). I guess its working!?

Yep the exe installer. Error message was: You have been kicked from the server. And that was after 3-4 min of 'waiting for host' Not sure if that's an error message but that's what I get! I was able to type to users in the server but didn't get much of a response I'll try one of the Basecamp AAS Servers in the morning and let you know. What should I be looking for in the RPT file?

Hey, so I downloaded the AAS 1.1 addon, launched the shortcut I put on my desktop, and am trying to join Armacalypse but it just says 'waiting for host' for about 5 minutes and then kicks me. I really want to play!

Can anyone help me out with the cmd messages 2 posts above? thanks

I'm kinda confused, this is a list of MP servers? I don't see how this will 'sync' my addons. I installed ACE2 with the 'Six Updater' and it completed and the game launched. But my command prompt stated the following What does this mean? The game launched with the mod just fine it seemed, but I want to clear up these errors

Anf now my third Arma mark run. All stats are the same as above except I now have a single 5870 running at default clocks instead of the two 4890's in xfire. Notice the slight score increase: 3940.57

Got a question. In that video with the apache and uav(unmanned littlebird) that is flying at night with the FLIR and lasing targets for the apache to fire its hellfires at; can units lase targets for apache hellfires too? I know you can do it with JDAMS in arma2, although its a pain in the anus all the time for some reason. But thinking now that building are destroyable, this feature now sounds so much more awesome. The thought of engaging contacts inside a building and having a guy lase a window, and then have your apache guys pick up the lased spot and put a hellfire in the window bringing down the building and killing all inside SOUNDS AWESOME

As far as I understand AAS is for PVP? I'd love to see some footage of some pvp combat at a secure point!

Lol ummmm, you almost killed that crew member with a minigun and you ran out there with an MP5. I was loling quite a bit.
