  1. Mine works at 11 and onwards. Seems only to be after 4 to 10. I'll add that to my ticket
  2. Ok ticket submitted. My router before hand was another modem/router in one which was the Netgear DG834G v3. Now that I think about it. When I was using that, I was playing AAS (Battle Eye) servers just fine! But I can't use the old router anymore because it is my landlords. So yes, despite my initial claims, this must be a router issue. What more can I do? Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7600] Copyright © 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. 3. Netgear DNG1000 Ok well this doesn't look good: Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7600] Copyright © 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. I can play in non-battle eye servers just fine such as Charlie Foxtrot as well as all my other games
  4. Yep same problem with old router
  5. - Downloaded the BattleEye .dll from their site and put it in the corresponding folder, no dice. - Turned off my Windows Firewall, no dice - router is brand new modem/router, not related to the issue, unless I need to add inbound/outbound firewall rules for battleye? - ISP speed is about 3.5megs down and 700kb/s up - ping to basecamp.de aas server is 43ms I have the AAS mod installed for arma2 but have done nothing for it in OA. Could that be an issue?
  6. I was posting screenies of OA from our screenshot thread over at mp.net's game screenshot thread (sorry for stealing :P). Some dude is bashing the game and I want to defend the game but am not the greatest advocate for it. See this post http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?64840-Screenshots-of-games-you-play&p=5111941&viewfull=1#post5111941 I don't know the details to answer his accusations but I want to shed a good light on the game for all the users at mp.net. Their user base is Massive.
  7. So all I have to do to fix this BattleEye privlages error when joining a game is tick the run as admin box in the properties > compatibility tab for my OA desktop shortcut?

I need your help proving OA is legit!!

Well, I gave it my best shot, despite not honestly knowing fully what I was talking about lol http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?64840-Screenshots-of-games-you-play&p=5112371&viewfull=1#post5112371

Need some insight with chopper flying...

I'd say I've masted keyboard flying. With q and z for power, x and c for rudder and up,down, left, right on arrow keys for banking up down left and right
  10. The great thing about OA is there aren't many mod servers which is why imo there are so many players right now. Too bad that is going to change thanks to ACE and the lot

    Steam is not satans creation...

Steam is amazing. I love it. I have lots of Steam games. It's is helping save/revive PC gaming. I just like my Arma 2/OA hard copy.
  12. Ok, and what is the default? So anyone with a quad core and not using the latest beta patch should essentially have '-cpucount=4' ?
  13. Thank you, I read that, it's just all over my head :P Why would one want to simulate dual core on a quad core processor when running arma2/OA?
  14. So if I have an i7 920 my -exThreads should be...........?
  15. So -exThreads=3 spreads the work load across your other 3 cores? Does it not do that by itself? Do you notice performance gains?
  16. I have have A2 and OA. Separate disks but my shortcut says Combined Operations. Whatever I don't even know what happened, I just ran the six updater for ACE OA, it gave the 'Mod is tagged disabled in the configuration file' error. Did a bunch of downloading and updating and launched OA at the end with the ACE mod. So I guess it works....:S This sh*t makes string theory look easy
  17. I did a search, found others with the same problem, no definite solution. So I should just let the update continue running and I will have ACE for OA and all will be fine?
  18. Hey guys, trying to Install ACE for OA with Six Updater and when I try to it says = @CBA_OA Mod is tagged 'disabled' in the configuration file. Skipping... & = @CBA_A2 Mod is tagged 'disabled' in the configuration file. Skipping... Do I need to download a CBA update first or something?
  19. lol god dam nedved. He's not even human
  20. I miss you qwertz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

British Troops DLC released & Official 1.01 Update

I would rather the L115 (sniper) and L129A1 (new sharpshooter rifle) than the Challenger II. They are giving us the new MTP camo and helmets and Osprey armour, why not the newer weapons?? I would rather a complete unit rather than some bits of all the British military. Was there any mention of the Gimpy? _

British Troops DLC released & Official 1.01 Update

I really think this forum is over moderated. We can't discuss anything slightly off topic that is still related to the DLC. Any thread created outside of this thread related to the DLC is locked, so where can we discuss the DLC while expressing our views and anything and everything pertaining to the BAF DLC and DLC's on the whole? This is the only forum I visit out of MANY that has at Least one locked thread per day. Keeping everything related to a certain topic in single sticky thread is an awful idea. No one wants to search through hundreds of pages to find information they want. That's the whole point of creating a new thread. Trigger happy mod's imo
