Now back to the drawing board, i have to checkout latest beta build.
Yesterday i had myself bombed (arty strike) for the very first time by some concealed AI units ... those damn cowards missed me and then withdrew. I was not even able to spot them :)

Leaving aside for the moment that this is of course a work of fantasy, it seems perfectly reasonable to me that once the virus has run its course and the host expires that the corpse might be re-animated as one of the walking dead. Infection (by either type) would create a new infected (fast) which after a period of time would die and rise again as a zombie (slow).Kind of leads to a 'no chance' sort of scenario then doesn't it?

Well, from what has been said so far, hes been quite successful using custom islands and zombie's so I would say so in terms of that, and who knows, maybe even better if they add anything new to what he gets to work with.

i don't like the idea of placing zombies 1 at a time
that really bothers me because i have to keep changing what the zombie is gonna look like instead of the same looking unit for each one
I believe you may only need to place one zed because the infection actually spreads quite rapidly.

Fantastic stuff Fabrizio, i am really really loving this. Any chance of showing us what its like to come up against a Flexi-AI squad in comparison to Vanilla.
Would love to see it from the other side of the spectrum, however I understand it may be hard to capture, so I fully understand if my request is not taken upon.

The tension of hiding in a forrest would be pretty full on. Im safe...for how long... my vision is limited, are they just behind those trees? Keep moving..

A soldier will often unclip his pack when he goes to ground so depending whats going on, the actual combat wont include all the weight.

Next video you make do it from first peerson perspective and then use freelook and look behind you as you run far more epic!
For the future, can, or are 50 cal etc more deadly to them?

Yeah. Basically, when you give out the Beta, have a list of things your aware of, ie, attack animations etc. Sure, they dont look perfect, but as Drew said, they are damned good for what they game was initially created for.
Is it possible for animators to create some for the game? I'm sure there would be some guys out there willing to lend a hand in creating some.

Hey charon, how do things stand with the zedheads now in terms of the 'run towards, slow down to a walk at 3m~ have a think, attack'.
Any other progression?

I wouldn't be opening any hatches with all those zed heads around. However if you have them in game, lower their fuel/ammo. Running out in z-town would suck. Especially when the only place to resupp is in such places.

Depending on how little the pauses are, one might lend themself in that direction, however, the freemoving zedheads would be fine if you could just engage away from cities.... its a tough choice.

I'd take move through obs over retarded movement. Could just play in open until workaround achieved. How's the workarounds workaround going??

Well your doing a fantastic job, my friend.
Cant wait to run for my dear life! Going to set up a mission of survival, no guns, see how I go. Pop a few Zeds in a few towns and try to escape to a 'safe place'.

If it was possible to get rid of that idle stand still they somtimes do, it would be great, but Im thinking it might just be a engine thing.

IMO, Sahrani has a better feel, so put it as either dusk or dawn load up some zommies and let all havoc break loose!
