  1. That happens when you're loosing connection to the server. There are many things that could be the reason for that - It might be your own internet connection, or even the server's fault. Some addOns and mods may cause this too, because they add gameplay modifications that no other players have, thus it will cause conflicts. This happens especially with total conversion mods and animation packs. I would suggest to play multiplayer with no addOns at all / only the addOns that are needed for the server.

  2. An alternative way could be to just setPos it far, far away. Works as good as the deleteVehicle command. Try this:

    chopper setPos [0,0,0]

This will move the chopper to the far top-left corner of the map. You could also destroy it with the setDamage command to make sure that it'll never come back, in case the chopper is flying while you're trying to get rid of it.

  3. You could have asked in their dedicated threads, or even had a look at them - I'm sure it's been answered there, maybe even in the initial posts.

But to answer your question (partly): FFUR stands for FlashFX Unit Replacement mod, ECP stands for Enhanced Configuration Project. I'm sure you can find out the rest too if you search.

  4. Well, I don't know what am I doing wrong, but as soon as I hit the "COMMAND NET" action, my game crashes to desktop. Happened in the demo mission included in the archieve. I have everything installed correctly - USMCsymbols.pbo, TSCmenu.pbo and DASmenu.pbo in the addOns folder. I tried running the demo mission from my user/missions folder, by the mission editor and the SP missions folder, by the single player mode but I always got the same result.

  5. For the best optimization for your own PC, it would probably be the best to configure those settings yourself. Open the FlashpointPreferences.exe from your Flashpoint installation directory and click Autodetect. The application will then change the settings according to your PC specs. You can then manually edit them too by clicking Advanced. Remember to keep the Objects LOD value at 0.005 under the Details tab to avoid those blocky characters.

  6. This is how to remove it:

    http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=92290

But I don't think that's the reason. I have that installed too with no problems. But you shouldn't pack PBOs for OFP with Arma2 tools. That might cause some problems.

You still didn't answer if you tried adjusting your Flashpoint preferences settings or not... Your settings seem very low from your first post, which would definately cause blocky characters and blurry textures. If you tried readjusting them, could you post your Flashpoint.cfg here again?

  7. Thanks a lot, Zulu1!

There are a lot of addOns that could fit in. I will give you a few examples, but you should be able to find some more from OFPR.info too.

Red Hammer Studios makes some quality Soviet era stuff that I believe Libya uses / used. Some of the vehicles even come in desert coloring, like their Hinds. You might also want to have a look their tanks:

    http://ofp.gamepark.cz/index.php?showthis=10499&newlang=eng

    http://ofp.gamepark.cz/index.php?showthis=10483&newlang=eng

    This might also be good:

Try typing into the search field on OFPR.info the specific vehicle you're looking for and you might find what you need.

  8. No, Kegetys' editor update was like any other editor update too - The player would also require the addOn to play the mission.

I just found out that the author's name was apparently Girt, if it helps anyhow.

I could always ask the guys from OFPEC too if they happened to have the file in their archieves...

  9. Does anyone know where to find the "Resistance Object Patch" addOn? It's a type of editor update addOn like Mikero's or Kegetys', but using that addOn wouldn't add any required addOns to the mission, because it used the original classnames. So this addOn would only reveal the hidden objects for the mission maker to use, without the player needing to download the addOn to play the mission. It used to be hosted on OFPEC, but now it's gone.
