Out of interest, is there any difference between those two commands, apart from nearEntities supposing to be faster?
-
Those are the enemies trying to punch and eat you...
-
They start out dead. But that doesn't have anything to do with them dying eventually in the mission. Unless you were using mods like ECP where infantry may die from their wounds, your captives must have died from enemy fire... or bad driving. Try playing the mission without those kind of mods or be more careful when extracting them.

The zombies have enhanced armour. A few shots in the head should do the trick, depending on which difficulty setting you chose. But the best way to play it through would be to just run away and save your ammo...
-
Yes, that is also another way to do it.

You mean you want the original Kolgujev replaced by the desert Kolgujev? In that case, you need to unPBO the addOn file containing the island, grab the WRP file from there and copy it to your Worlds folder in OFP directory and replace the cain.wrp file in there with that one. Remember to backup the original one.

Unless team switch is not available, you can't. Not without editing the mission itself.
-
Sounds like you're talking about the mission in the Resistance campaign. "Crossroads" if I remember right. Look harder. The camp is in the Eastern side of some forest at grid D2. You can't miss it if you follow the Eastern edges of the woods in D2.

You should keep in mind that the available weapons assigned in description.ext are local. Meaning that if you only gave the players, for example, one available RPG launcher, every player can equip it. Even if another player already took it from the available weapons for himself, other players would still see it available for themselfs and take it. In my opinion, the best way would be to put a weapons crate at the starting location of the mission...

The new vehicles look really promising, keep it up! :)

World war two. The demo is about the allied invasion on Sicily and the latest, alpha version is about Holland, as far as I know.

Thanks for the answers. :)

As the site manager of ofpr.info, I have to say that you're wrong there. :) We have no plans to shut down the site, unless the sky falls down.

Looks really promising. The island sounds like it'll be really unique. :) How does AI perform with the tunnel? Are they able to move in it and on the top level?

If you're looking for an addOn, you can request it here.

Well, that doesn't tell much, because USSR existed for nearly 100 years. Will it be WW2? Cold war gone hot? Also, I still wanted to know if the mod has anything to do with Red Dawn the movie... So is the mod only going to concentrate on Soviet troops or will there be somekind of OPFOR too? Sorry for asking a lot, but "a mod about USSR" doesn't really tell much about the content and I just wanted to know what to expect.

You turn into a flying BMP? That's... new. What mods are you using?

I just found something profoundly disturbing

Sahrani converted to ArmA II. ;) ArmA I didn't have eyeballs. -
Hmm, looks like they've improved it some bit. My answer came from my experiences from OFP and ArmA I. You couldn't actually report your position in those games apart from giving a move command, so I can't really answer that one. Simple move command has always worked for me/us in multiplayer and singleplayer games.
-
As far as I know, you don't really need to report your position. I don't think there's even an action to do so for the player in ArmA II. Just wait at your position and they'll automatically return back. Alternatively, just give them a move command into your position.

Which time period will the mod be based on? Does it have anything to do with the movie of the same title? Also, any progress so far? :)

can someone please answer my questions????????
rellikki replied to blackhawkdown's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - GENERAL
1. Apparently, you can. I don't have a copy of ArmA II myself but I've seen in the trailers that you can HALO jump, possibly at some point in the campaign game. 2. No, but it's possible with scripting. I've seen it done many times in the past in ArmA I and OFP... 3. Yes. -
Here is the error:
