Very nice addOn. Quality work. A few things in case you're going to update this at some point: - The ears look a little misplaced. If you've got the skills, could you maybe move them a little bit towards the eyes or alternatively adjust the face texture so it fits with the ears' position? - You can sometimes see Snake's forehead skin coming through the bandana, depending on the character's facial expression. This could be fixed by adjusting the model or alternatively texturing the bandana on the face texture itself. - Snake's hair is a lot of more thicker, hanging over the bandana, unlike how it appears on your addOn. Maybe this could be modeled by remodeling the head's area above the bandana plus some additional texturing work. - Snake's sneaking suit is a very tight fit, however the sleeves on your addOn look very loose as it goes towards the hands. Maybe this could be adjusted a little too? Apart from those little things, it's a great addOn. :)

From the picture above, it seems like the "hlava" selection is missing the nostril, mouth and the bandana sections. Carefully make sure those are indeed in the "hlava" selection in the first resolution LOD and it should do the trick. I can't see what else could be wrong with it.

Out of interest, can you tell us what are your plans for the rework of the desert islands? Are we going to see any radical differences?

Looking forward for the release! Is it going to need any additional addOns to work? I'd personally prefer if it wouldn't, so the mission makers could arm him with whatever weapons they'd want, be it stock game weapons or custom ones. The choice would be up to them. Before you release your addOn, you might want to register your own OFPEC tag. Read more about it here: http://www.ofpec.com/tags/ It's a good principle to tag your addOns for the reasons also told in that page. :)

The problem is in the proxies. Try deleting your current proxies from the model and copy them back onto your model from the original BAS infantry kit model. As far as I know, the proxies in the original model are correctly placed and there shouldn't be any problems like that. Do this for all the resolution LODs and the pilot view LOD. If the problem still occurs, the only way to fix it probably is to manually move the proxies accordingly to fix the weapon holding. In the pistol's case, for example, you'd need to move the proxy a little bit to the left from the model's view to make the character hold the gun correctly.

It's the intro for the 33th mission Escape, where Nichols needs to escape from the Soviets.

The Fsets are for the random face script used in llauma's heads. They're not really needed, seeing as you want the model to have only this face, so you might aswell just remove them, aswell as any scripts which would set the face for the unit, since the face is now permanent. :) You most likely have some kind of mapping problem in the model. Make sure everything's mapped correctly and the eyeballs have the correct texture assigned to them. Also, make sure the eye balls are assigned to the "hlava" selection.
-
Remove the selection "osobnost" altogether from the model. That way the face is permanent and won't change.

You could do like they did in JAM - Configure different kinds of rockets. JAM had anti-personnel, anti-tank and anti-air rockets which the AI would use accordingly. This would also give the mission editor an option if one doesn't want the AI to shoot at choppers with rocket launchers by simply not giving them those kind of rockets.
-
It would be nice if the AI would try to RPG the choppers too, though I think the vanilla rocket launchers are a little overpowered for choppers. Are there any plans for custom WW4 rocket launchers?

Latter is for OFP: Resistance, it's the most up-to-date. Here's the fixed link: ftp://ftp.ofpr.info/ofpd/unofaddons2/MTY_B47Res.exe

Was editor upgrade 103 supposed to be in this release? Because there's only a readme for it in the Documentations folder but the addOn itself is missing.

Mirror by OFPR.info: ftp://ftp.ofpr.info/ofpd/unofaddons2/@ww4mod21.rar The animation issue reported on the first page is fixed and the useless PBO has been removed in this repacked archieve. :)
-
This is the OFP forum... No L-39's have been made for OFP, as far as I know.
-
You might want to remove ww4_bug.pbo from the release. ;) Personally I think the previous reload animation was actually better, as it gave the character more cover when he would always crouch to reload.

Good job with the update. Been waiting for the SCARs. The new other weapons are very good too. Do you have a list of changes somewhere? The desert versions of Malden and Everon weren't included in this release? I see that you included HD versions of the vanilla pistols, which is good. Could you maybe do the same for the rest of them too? Namely the Revolver, Ingram and Skorpion.

There's been a lot of mission requests lately, so I decided to merge them all into this sticky thread. From now on, if you're looking for a mission, or just have an idea, you can ask for it in this thread. As for me, I remember some sort of mini version of Serial killer MP mission from a very long time ago. It was designed on the little training island on Malden. Anyone know where to find it?

Right click on Flashpoint.cfg, go to properties and make sure it's not set on Read-only. After that, you should be able to freely edit it in Flashpoint preferences and do the changes suggested.
-
You don't know how to press buttons? All you need to do is edit one of the easier difficulty settings and enable / disable the settings to match the settings of the Veteran difficulty level. It's that easy. Go to Options -> Game Options -> Difficulty and there you have it. You can compare the settings there and do whatever you want to do.

Weird, some of my friends had the exact same problem and adjusting the Objects LOD setting as I suggested should have done the trick.
