Ah well that sucks, hopefully there will be more options in ArmA2. Thanks for your input, guys

So...what about the ability to vote for mssions? Does this also mean it revokes that right too? At present the server.cfg looks like this: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">voteMissionPlayers=1; voteThreshold=1.20; I don't want them to log in as admin but they should be able to vote missions... Thank you

Thank you, Matt

'Scuse my ignorance and pure noob like approach to this...but how?

Hi, I apologise if this is ion the wrong place or if it has been asked before, I didn't find it in a search..... Is there a way of restricting the Admin login of a client without the admin password? I see an option in the server.cfg for the ability to vote maps and the admin password, but nothing to stop a player from getting voted in. Can this be done? Thanks in advance.

This mission is simply a stroke of genius! This mission is a must for squads, as it stretches teamwork and comms to the max! I have never seen such a steady and constant onslaught of AI - but not so much that it gets rediculous. Once eventaully making it to Tower Rock, you have added a beautiful little twist - caught me and the other players off guard! We managed to complete the mission after about 20 attempts, there were no bugs seen and it was a real achievement to finish!! Good job, Shark. Another quality piece of work -
Hi Ghost, Firstly, I LOVE this mission, we (Reality Friends) have been playing it for a long time now with varying levels of success...This can keep a tactical squad on its toes for up to 5 hours! You can visit our forum and follow our feedback here: http://realityfriends.com/forum....start=0 I guess I am here to ask if you would be so kind as to modify the map to allow 8-10 players? Please reads the posts in our forums for any minor bugs too. Cheers in advance m8

ROFL TOWdaddy - No offence taken m8, does make me sound like a school kid though - I also did 10 years in the Army

My father used to fly Lynx Attack helicopters in the British Army and TOW was the primary weapon. He is obviously qualified to answer questions on TOW - so I asked him - So his reply was: Please BIS, let's get in line with reality here, or at least the ability to be able to use the tools provided to us as used in the real world effectively! At the moment the TOW is like a fairground attraction that you cannot win!

Firstly, it's nice to play as the bad guys Excellent mission here, a great new concept with the whole 'Trojan Horse' scene. Stealth is the name of the game for the first part until the destruction of the radio tower, then all holy hell breaks loose! barricade yourselves into the sandbags and wipe out the onslaught of troops whilst making sure to kill the pilot - after all you're gonna nick his UH-60 as the trojan horse. Some nice door gunning action on the sympathisers, keep your eyes peeled for armour though. Very difficult to take over the enemy airfield with a run and gun attitude, you'll need to hold back and pick your targets carefully....if the Harriers take off...... Look out for secondary objectives..... Great Job, Shark - another quality mission as usual

This is EXACTLY the problem I was having, one day it was fine, the next all this crap started to happen. The only thing that had changed since the night before was a Windows Update where I installed an updated driver for my X52 and a Silicon Image SATA Driver I don't know if it was the SATA driver because I disabled the Silicon Image controller in the BIOS. I also uninstalled the X52 and cleared its drivers and the same with my N52 and TrackIR4 in case they were contributing to this problem. Nothing seemed to fix it, my character was still doing what he wnated to do and not what I was trying to control him to do ..Well, after pretty much removing everything and installing them again, checking for malware and shutting down unnecessary services etc I decided to just reformat and start from scratch - It's been about 6 months since the last reformat so it was due. This resolved the problem LOL Quite drastic but it worked

Joystick Sensitivity Adjusments in v1.02 Patch
Richklink replied to Paco454's topic in ARMA - TROUBLESHOOTING
But it's still confusing, and a biatch to tweak..Couldn't you include a setting within the game to do it in the controls section..with explanations?? Lock On had a nice tweaking screen (those who used it will agree). Can you not implement a similar concept? -
Thank you for your MOD, Novusordo. It is far better than the original sounds. Just a quickie for you tho m8, do you plan to change the sounds for the Harrier in an upcoming MOD? Presently it sounds like a motorised wheelchair (hopefully you won't get moaning about infringing copyright from British Aerospace for 'stealing their sounds )
