  1. I haven't been here in a while, but I did fix my camera, check this .

biggrin_o.gif Yup, I plucked up the courage to do it, and I am ever so proud of myself, haha. I saved myself £85 too!

Anyhoo, here are a few shots from me:

    Guess where I've been then?

I'll post some more Holiday photos later, I've got a few good ones I reckon. smile_o.gif

  2. Killagee, those Berlin shots are amazing - I wish I'd gone out at night for photos when I was there!

Sad news for me though. After buying a brand new lens, which cost me £300, my shutter mirror broke... I've been taking pics on manual focus but haven't really had the time to get out enough!

  3. Cool pics, the M3 one has a bit of a shallow dof, but looks good!

I finally bought the Canon 28-135 lens, its awesome! I'll post some pics later.

Heres some pics I've taken recently:

Yellow Flower (not sure what it is)

    Edinburgh Castle

    Cafe in Edinburgh

Oh, Aimpoint your shots are amazing! You should be working for the press, most of the shots in the BBC news don't come close to being as good as yours!

  4. I have that exact same lens. It's quite good at all the things you want but keep in mind that due to the crop factor on most dSLR's the 28mm lower boundary isnt that wide any more smile_o.gif All in all a fantastic allround lens but if you want a wide angle lens I'd go with something more towards 18 - 12 mm lower limit smile_o.gif

Thanks! smile_o.gif Have you got any examples of photos you've taken with it?

  5. Cool pics, looks like fun! I am looking to get a new lens, preferably one that I can take portraits, landscapes and everyday shots with, but is also good in low light, what do people think of this lens:

    Clicky!

I've also read that with extension tubes it can double up as a reasonable macro lens, something I'd appreciate.

It sounds good and has good reviews, does anyone know of an alternative? Or is it pretty good?!
