    Constructive criticism

I think the tracer fire is great, i don't think there is too much. For me itsw an invaluable help, and it also looks cool at night having shilkas trying to wax you. 27. Last night i played on that destroy the bridge mission and there was this enemy squad crawling across it, abut strangly some crawled right off it and died. Similarily, the bmp drove right off it and had to swim its way to its large bucket of rpg hurt. I feared this would happen to my squad (not one of them had been killed btw ) and so i had to do all the blowing up myself The bridge seems a bit dodgy

JUst want to say - Resistance kicks ass, i haven't had so much fun in opf for ages. now the niggles (hopefully no one has pointed them out) 23. It'd be pretty cool if vehicles didn't sink into the ground. My first impressions of opfr sucked because in cut scenes, stuff looked like it'd been half buried. 24. Fix the mission bugs. I had to use that cheat to get past occupation for example Otherwise, everything is a mssive improvement. the terrain especially kicks ass, it looks great, especially seeing tanks rocket down the bumpier slopes bouncy bouncy The missions kick ass too, and all the new stuff is cool. Hopefully one day they'll make the other islands like nogova (add the realistic terrain). Its the first game i haven't bought on pirate for ages and its well worth the money

    Kill zone

This is the same with RPG's. I can understand why sabots don't have splash damage (try HEAT's) but you'd have thought rpg's would kill a few infantry if you fired into a group. On that occupation mission, where you see the big line of ruskies walking around the base, i fired an rpg dead center into the line and only 2 of them died

    Can't progress :(

I'm on this mission (i can't remember the name) and i believe i've finsihed it, but it won't end. You start having to take out a mansion type building, to provide a safe route for your tank support, then you move down to the base. I have 8 guys left, all standing in the base, every russian is dead, we have gone all over the place in the bmp 2, gone through the woods (quickly though) and we haven't been shot at since we killed the last dude coming from the first counter attack. I've tried this mission twice now, and in both time i was in the same situation and the mission didn't end. anyone else have this problem (in the objectives btw i have the 1st objective done, second not done, 3rd done and the 4th not done). Please take my word that there are no people hiding behind walls on behind bushes on the surrounding hills.

    Messed up roads

For a long time now i've been noticing my opf roads are naffed up. They seem ok, but then they get the occasional green triangle flickering. This has got much worse since i got resistance. Anyone know what is going on and how i can fix it? I'm using a 64mb Geforce 2. Using 1064x768 (or whatever that one is), D3D, with lots of graphics details turned up high. Visual quality is high but not the max, and the LOD's are the defaults

Do you have a better idea ? Â anyone who looks awkwardly in the direction of america these days is anti american.... I don't think soo,i mean if you really going bash U.s. about something ,Why won't you bash them about an american civilian in military jail and a french civilian in an american court. About china/u.s. the plane.. It's like this russia and america play these games for 50 so years and china doesn't know how to play the game. Also why aren't you bitching about china spying on USA ? Maybe because it's ok to do whatever to USA ,but if usa tries to spy on anyone they are wrong and there should be a protest, and likes not forget to add them sanctions.Because we all know the usa is the big gaint evil guy on the block just picking on everyone else. Also what bugs me is your post about bombing cities,How do you think the afghanistan conflict/war is going ? I say pretty damn good.<span id='postcolor'> I don't care if China spies on america and vice versa as in having spies in each others countries. Its just the USA are the ones flying aircraft about the place. I think they do this because they want China to attack them. I think this is exactly what the US are doing in Iraq - they fly planes around, begging to be shot down, so that when they do they can justify going in and saving the world. If they're gonna spy, they should at least have some subtlety about it. I can see this spy plane problem escalating and china getting pretty pissed off about it. Afghanistan is going good but america still bombs the odd red cross building or groups of british tanks in these latest of conflicts. I think america does basically say to nations like china: ''Hey look, we're the most powerful nation in the world, so if you wanna camplain about us sending planes about the place and getting involved in all your affairs, then you can fuck right off, because we could fucking crush you're pathetic, poor, economically underdeveloped, laughable compared to america nation like dogs''. Obviously they do this a bit more quietly Plus, i'd just like to add - just because i don't like the way America treats other countries in the world doesn't mean i hate american civilians or america in general. You just assume that i do because it allows you to whinge about everyone hating america because they are the bestest nation in the world.

To me it just doesnt make sense that life has no meaning and that we live by chance...... I am not joking but God saved me, he healed me and did miracles in my life. Let me share this one with u. My parents are from nigeria but as we lived in italy we went there on vacation every 1nce in awhile. When I went there I got celebral malaria and I went into a coma. (This is Nigeria we r talking about remember). My dad told me that the overheard the doctor talking with the nurse saying that I was done. My mum gathered many and many ppl to pray for my healing and I got healed. If this happened in a 1st world country I would have thought that medicine saved me, but I know that God did. It was in coma for 4 days btw, so I wasnt sleeping or anything. Untill u c God in action u might not understand, but I know that God will send in ur way someone who can set the example for you all <span id='postcolor'> So god will rescue one bloke from disease, but he won't cure all those millions upon millions of people with cancer/aids or whatever. Religion makes people feel special, and in order to maintain this feeling that you are indeed above other people (because god loves you) you dedicate your life to the cult, hence making your life worse (since you won't do anything you feel will make god hate you - which is pretty much everything). I mean, if was god, and some dude dedicated his life to him and payed for my messengers (vicars, popes etc...) ivory backscratchers i wouldn't send that dude to hell just because he thought of stealing a pen from work. btw - let me share this one with you. I once had a tooth ache, a really, really bad tooth ache. My mum, being a ex-dentist, told me i would definatly need to see a dentist about it to get it sorted out. I didn't see a dentist. In fact, the whole thing was gone in under 2 days. Did god get rid of my toothache? obviously he did because my mum in all her wisdom said i HAD to go the dentist. Actually, i didn't even consider god cured me, in fact, the thought never even came close to entering my mind. Simply because i think this god idea is a load of bollox. Despite the fact i had a 'miraculous' recovery from my toothache.

I visualise the F-22 like the fat general of the skies. It looks good with all its merits and medals, and will be the one to take all the credit in the end. But there will be little appreciation for all the other fighters who cleared out the danger zone and rolled out the red carpet. And why? because the F-22 is on higher pay and looks more classy. The F-22 can and will dominate the skies, but its unlikely it'll fire off many BVR Missles to do it. \I doubt very much it'll even take on the formidable SU's. The conclusion of this - god, if he exists, does make miracles, but they completly suck ass compared to the miricales science produces. Btw - science has also come up with a very believable and feasible explantaion for the creation of various things in space. Myabe not how life was created, but hey, i'd rather wait for that one than believe that all life was derived from two humans ripped from one of gods ribs The bible doesn't really say how the universe was created, rather it just gives a pretty pathetic and laughable explanation saying it was all created through magic

And after all, they could just get shot to shit on the ground, or an aircraft carrier could hit a WW2 mine etc... etc... Â The F-35 can do air to air, but it's optimized for air to ground. Â F-22 is not meant to be a real air to ground fighter.<span id='postcolor'> The F-22 is just eye candy. Given the tactics of NATO - to destroy enemy aircraft way before they can even take-off - makes them a mere convenience. The JSF is a great piece of kit - and ultimatly will be more useful. The NATO military has Artillery, Bombers, Gunships, Cruise missles... all to destroy enemy aircraft on the ground - the safest place to hit a fighter. So what is the point of having F-22's if another fighter, at about a 6th of the price, can take on all those *sarcasm* incredibly nasty iraqi Mig-21's as well as destroy ground targets? The only use for a F-22 is against bigger nations anyway. It seems we're just fighting middle eastern and asian countries - in these cases F-15's, 16's and 18's do the job just fine. The eurofighter as well will be ample to take on any Russian made equipment as well. The fact is, the F-22 may be the snazziest piece of kit the USA have ever produced, but the fact is it is a complete waste of 100-200million dollars, given that it doesn't really fit into NATO tactics, and that there is still no competition in the world for a good ol' F-15 (considering the sukhois haven't been mass produced really). We all know the USA squander money on pointless shite, but the fact remains, it would be more effective and efficient to buy 6 F-15's for 200million rather than a single F-22. The F-22 lacks the flexibility to justify its cost. It is, quite simply, utterly useless. The JSF isn't, and i think everyone would be wise to invest in these rather than the overrated F-22.

As with much yank equipment, i think it was just designed to show the world that the yanks are better at making fighters than everyone else, because it doesn't really serve any other purpose that older aircraft do not. Plus, people have been debating the effectiveness of stealth for ages, it is after all, pretty easy to detect them so long as you know what you're doing and you have specialised equipment. Most combat will be done BVR from now on, if there ever will be combat air to air between fighters again. As such, i think all ofd these aircraft are pretty similar, the F-22 has its stealth, which gives it an advantage, but its debatable how big an advantage it is. I think its the russians who lead the way it fucking up stealth, i read somewhere they're working on radar that goes after heat signitures and stuff really effectivly. My conclusion - all these next generation fighters are pretty much the same - the F-22 wins the top trumps contest for being stealthy, but thats cancelled out because it costs 3 times more than a SU-30 or eurofighter. The Sukhoi series gets muchos extra points for flexibility (Air to Air, BVR, Dogfighting, AWACs, dedicated Air to Ground....). The eurofighter has some mean BVR weapons though.
