You can easily keep it still by yourself with a joystick/mouse and there will be no more shaky shaky.

Where can I get my hands on a cool custom title (under your avatar)? Something like "Cereal master" would be cool!

I remember Skaven made one for his Pakistan Infantry pack. But i wasnt realistic or good looking (no offence, and nice try for a p3d-edited weapon) and it only had about 800-900 rpm, and the sound kinda was lame, ever heard a MG-3? you shit your pants if you hear it Fullauto...<span id='postcolor'> It can go up to 1800 rpm if you change the firing pin (or whatever it's called ). Imagine what soldiers in WWII must've felt when they got under fire of one of those babies (technically it were Mg42's back then, but Mg42 are almost identical to Mg3's )

I joined 1st August 2001, got banned , re-joined (yes, bad me, but placebo let me! got post restricted (*cough* ) got un-post-restricted again and here I am . I think I'm one of the only lucky ones that can say he /she got banned twice I'm not proud of that at all though....I'm not....I don't think I am....maybe just a little... But look at my sig! Being banned is a dull, dreary affair people!

It looks more like an Mg42. Shouldn't an Mg3 have smaller air-vents?

RedStorm replied to Aculaud's topic in ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I think they want it as an official addon, not as a user made addon. -
If you patched up to version 1.46 of the Cold War Crisis you should be able to get into your "Addons" folder and open the map "Flags.pbo" with notepad. In there you will find the following (among many others): Australia.jpg. So in the editor you select under the "empty" tab: Flag. In its init line you put: </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">this setflagtexture "australia_vlajka.pac";<span id='postcolor'> It's as easy as that! And it works for almost any country you can think of. I'll quote the countries available for putting on your flag posts: </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">Afghanistan.jpg       …%Å‚;Ã=  Albania.jpg       x%Å‚;&2  Algeria.jpg       p%Å‚;5$  Andorra.jpg       ä%Å‚;

Well, I as the great expert, will enlighten you. The Gamo series of rifles is well know for its shooting. They shoot and do a damn good job at it. The shooting is generally performed by putting your finger on the trigger and slowly but surely squeezing it. Mr. Gamo, the designer/manufacturer of these air-rifles wanted to produce airrifles which would shoot, which these do. They fire bullets. The Gamo rifles stand out between the other rifles because on the box it says "Gamo". This is done to make the purchaser of the Gamo rifle sure that it is infact a Gamo rifle he purchased and not some cheap copy. When firing with the Gamo rifle, make sure you have your finger on the trigger and make sure the rifle is pointed at your target and not at your dog or that scary clown that lives nextdoor. Have fun with your new Gamo rifle! (Taken from http://www.ye-olde-gamo-rifles.org/)

Dont even bother - it even crashes after a while if you use a GeForce 2 MX/Mx400

As to reply to your number 2 question: an addon is most of the time a single new vehicle/weapon/soldier, while a mod most of the time refers to a complete 'modification' of the game (new units, new vehicles, new campaign) and a 'modification' usually doesn't have anything to do with the original game anymore (eg. OFP is a war sim, but a modification could be something entirely different, like a space shooter.)
-
Uhh...what's wrong with the standard OFP medics?

The OFP model is a bit off, and just look at its wheels and FFAR pods. They're both just square blocks with roundish textures slapped on, which completely overlap the two squares.

Ok, I now have the basics, but I have two bases in my map and I want the (in this case) Chinook to fly from one to the other every time a player gets in (eg. You get in at the airport, the chinook flies you to the base, you get out, the chinook just remains at the base and an hour or so later you get back because you want to go back to the airport so you get in again at the base and the chinook flies you to the airport again) could this be done, if so, how? I want this to just cycle endlessly so you can make use of this "taxi" thing as much as you like (I'm making a inhabited map together with another forum member, but I'm not really good at scripting, so that's why I need a bit of help with these things)
-
I'm making a map in which I want a helicopter to take off only when a player gets inside (it's a multiplayer map so it has to work for both the player characters and the playable characters). How should I do this?

F117 pilot: "BWHAHA!!! I, The evil Vader of Nutroksky has come to take over the world!! *pgghht* *pssh* *boaam* (making shooting and explosion sounds while targeting houses and trashcans)" Mission control: "err...Please repeat Striker One, we didn't copy!" F117 pilot: "err, never mind. I was doing an audio check, over!" Striker One looks back over shoulder and sees two trashcans knocked over and a civilian house with a bomb sticking out of the roof F117 pilot: "Uhh...mission control...duhh...this is..ehh Striker One...I fubarred...it seems that I've been bombing...like...a few houses and trashcans..while doing an impression of Vader of Nutroksky" Mission control: "Damnit! Return to base immediatly!...Oh, and don't worry about the houses and trashcans...we'll just blame it on terrorist attacks..."

Anybody? If you manage to answer my question, I'll send you a bowl of fresh cereal!

Type 5 in all of the boxes. Min sets the minimum time the trigger has to activate, max sets the maximum time and mid sets the medium time.
