You can change the numbers so it does the whole process faster, and ~0.2 can act like automatic fire! You can change the M2 to a tank or some kind of static gun so its like Flak fire! Flak guns fire quickly, so you should stick the tanks on full skill level, that should speed up their reload speeds!

    How do you change the faces? I've made a few for the different charactors in my campaign, but i don't know how to set them to the certain missions/people actualy in the game!

    is it not possible to use a script for people from another squad to do this? I'm gunna need more than 7 look outs, this is for the Sarugao campaign, so if you imagen an island about third the size of Everon, with a POW escapie running around with a load of Russians looking for him, i'm gunna need more than 7 people to spot him. But that was a very nice idea. Before i used scripts i could come up with ideas somthing like that!

    it happens alot to me anyways, its always been my zip software before. Other people tend not to have problems. I found it on another website anyways, oh and the CiA website is real cool. I'm gunna put yous on the Credits for my campaign.

    British units?.....

    the desert rats are SAS, they went around in jeeps for about 3 weeks, then about 7 land rovers with MG on the back. They wiped out some base, but 4 of the land rovers got trashed! They had all kinds of tricks to cheat dehidration, such as not talking, since you lose water that way! 3 weeks in a desert, sand in your sandwitches and not being able to talk! I'd go through it if i got to shoot up some nazis in the end!

    Chopper loading probles

    whenever i have situations where a laod of men start off jumping into a chopper, the chopper waits automaticly. It does however move its self to a better landing zone if its on ruff terrain!
  10. ok, The parachuted resistance fighters have to drop mines on a supply route road behind a town that is about to be taken in 10minutes (7:10). Note, mission starts at 70am. They will be droped right next to two russians who will be next to a camp fire. They will have transport, this is a UAZ parked next to them. I want the paras to be able to steel this car and for the russians to think my 3 men are friendly. This will allow them to drive to their objective road faster, but they will run into a checkpoint. where they will be discovered. (A gaurd will walk up next to the car window and start talking in Russian (Text will be repeated in English below) and after a while of talking he will notice their uniforms, it will take him a while cuz its dark!. I need scripts for: the 10 minutes before offensive (i have never made a mission that uses time more than 30seconds.) The imunity to sentrys when in UAZ. Imunity stops when gaurd is talking to them. Oh, and the gaurd will give away some infomation about officers at a meeting where spec ops will attack in a later mission, you can only do this mission if you go to the checkpoint!
  11. but they don't actualy have to meet the gaurd at the checkpoint, they can avoid him and get out, how to i make it so when they exit the veichle anywhere they lose their ability to not get shot at, and if they get back in they gain it back, except for if sombody sees them do it.

  13. still not entirly sure how to make the Gaurd talk to the 3 men in the car (this will use one .sqs full of chats and stuff) and then when he says somthing like hes noticed their uniforms he'll open fire on them!
  14. ok, Band of brothers is on the TV, so i just want to add a para mission that looks kinda like it! I want a load of chinooks to be flying along, and after they reach a certain point a load of MGs on the ground start shooting upwards, they arn't really supposed to hit! They're just supposed to create the effect of a shit load of MGs on the floor. After a while one of the Chinooks will burst into flames and fall to the ground (this chinook will be right next to the players chinook and will scare the pilot shitless!, the pilot will give the green light and the paras will jump out! When the player is orderd to jump out, the chinook will explode killing hi squad! the player will now be by him self and will meet up with a higher ranking squad member, the player will help him and they will begin to find more squad members. So, how do i all of these general things.

    Bob style para mission

    mission editting, lots scripting, almost none! i was actualy kinda scared of scripting, and before i worked out how to use syncronise i used to increase units jurneys so they would get their just on time! and it isn't the whole mission, i'm pritty good with mission where you have to follow a very strict path. I just need the scripts or methods to make AI fire aimlessly into the air and only hit the chinooks every so often!

    ok, finished it, this will be my demo mission, since i want to leave the beach landing for people who get the campaign! the only addon you will need is the addon pack from ofp-fortress.com with all the MG's in it, and the BiB British Paras. i'll try and upload it somtime later!

    Has anybody made some close quarters missions? In my new campaign i have just finished one that involves running around a town with FULL fog, this will force the player into close combat. It takes alot of well planned out waypoints to make sure the AIs don't run off to where you don't want them! Tanks are pritty hard too, since you need to waypoint everyturn when they're in aware/combat modes. you will of course have to follow my waypoints or you'll spoil it! I've tried sticking some enemy machine guns in certain areas to kill the player should they run down a place i don't want them to!

    where do they get this stuff? i'm just taking mine from the games, and they go pritty overboard in research and historys. When you the pulse rifle, if yo tap the Lmb it will fire 2shots, if you hold it keeps on firing (avp2, long time since i played avp1). If you fire a grenade, it has exaust fumes, and it flys in a strait line (avp1, i can remember that!.
