OFP2 could do with SOF2 style body damage

-
however, i think his work Death Wish showed a dark aspect of the era. when the movie first came out, people were cheering his actions. This was discussed once before in a thread about vigilantiism.
As a naydev Noo Yawkah, I think people's reactions were quite normal at that time. Violent and petty crime was on the rampage - really really bad - and the police, courts and jails seemed a hopeless mess.
People cheered for seeing the bad guy get it for a rare change. That wasn't so once the movie finished, you left the theatre and were back on the street outside.
People have cheered in all sorts of hero movies, when the bad guy finally gets it in the end.
that`ll be the UK soon

I think other factors are to be considered than just the parents end of the deal in general.
GTA3s a tame game, the gore in it just some splats of blood and maybe a disapearing head at the most.
Quote[/b] ]Just from reading about it I can tell you. You get a super slut and than after you are done with her you can kill her to refund all your money and you get varyingamounts each increasing in how when and were it's all done (The killing.) So luckily these kids didn't get to the end of GTA3 yet. But If this is allowed on the market
u know whats funny about that,i found about that through some shitty tabloid trying to do a scandal article on the game.
What happens is u pick up a hooker and the car starts bouncing and u get more health at the expense of a few dollars. What they`ve done is taken it out of context.
In GTA3 u can whack anyone and usually they`ll drop some cash so put 2 and 2 together and u see where they`ve come up with the wonderful message of "it encourages u to pick up hookers and kill them" when infact the shitty newspapers have actually encouraged ppl to do this

Also what they neglect to mention is that once u start capping ppl the police show up quickly and start shooting going all the way up to the military, though thats when the fun really begins

SOF2 was worse and it was annoying how u couldn`t cap the the civilians in it

Both games are 18 cert,if u want to find out about UK ratings check out my freddy v jason thread that got locked.
Quote[/b] ]Does any one here know what the prize is at the end of GTA3? And how you can get an even bigger bonus?I think ur a little confused about GTA3, u dont get a "prize" at the end of it,infact most of it is just doing missions with u against other mobs with the end goal of settling t he score with one of ur doublecrossing partners.

Well why do the yanks stick an M before everything

-
The article makes it sound like the cops didn't even try to help to poor bugger with the bomb. Â
He just robbed a bank thats why

-
I like the p-39 but i hate t he stupid cockpit lights

How big is the patch BTW?
-
Whys that,if the makers release it into public domain everythings ok
nice links BTW -
Quote[/b] ]Now I admit I may be misunderstanding this semi-coherent post, butYou can't *sell* addons to a game without permission from the game creators/ copyright holders, regardless of how you made them. The Gunman mod addon thing, CS and Day Of Defeat, all had to get permission and were in fact CS and DoD were bought over by valve prior to selling the game
CS and DoD used valves stuff though.I`m sure ages ago ppl use to sell map packs for other games without having to do a deal withh the makers.
Think of it this way, honda makes a car,say if i was the manufacturer of car accesories like chromes exhausts and gear sticks etc, would i have to pay honda because i make stuff for their cars

In the same way if u buy a dremel drill for example u dont get a leafelet saying that whatever work u do with it,u have to pay dremel
Quote[/b] ]And it IS exactly like you go into a store and every single item has a license with it stating EXACTLY what you can do and cannot do with it: that is what happens in reality.give me an example of this.

This could seriously hamper opensource/freeware initiatives. That's exactly what the companies want. OpenOffice, Gimp, etc... no more unwanted competitors.
Here are some examples of existing patents...
http://swpat.ffii.org/patente/muster/index.en.html

EDIT: definitions to add
BIS created OFP; Nobody else can make money with OFP-addons or OFP-mods without asking BIS. That's Copyright, and it's automatically activated without the need to pay for it.
BIS got a patent on "simulating a battelfield with land, air and sea forces using 3D graphics in an electronic game"; That'd be very expensive for the creators of Battlefield:1942 or similar programs...
Copyright: protect your product (book, song, machine, software)
Patent: protect idea behind your product
Im going t o do a U-turn in my opinion of this, just by remembering those stupid licenses that we get in our PC programs which i hate so much so they can go fuck themselves.
Quote[/b] ]BIS created OFP; Nobody else can make money with OFP-addons or OFP-mods without asking BIS. That's Copyright, and it's automatically activated without the need to pay for it.yeah but if had ur own program to make add-ons,i mean this in general too like if it was half life we`re talkin about then they can go FOAD.
I mean its not like u go in a store and every single product has some stupid license with it saying what u can and can`t do with it,like dismantle it for example

Most likely it`ll  be  used  to r ip us  off even  more
Quote[/b] ]Cars are a privilage, not a right. I think a lot of people forget that.Thats a bit like the issue of self defense here

Cars or some other personal transport is a necessity in most walks of life, what else is there apart from the bog standard rail and bus services

Theres nothing magical about console connections, they can suffer from lag just as much as PC ones; they use the same technology and same phone / cable lines. And FPSs are crap on consoles.
no they`re not

-
Its a shame sega flopped as they had the best set up for going online with consoles Â
They had too many arcadish games.

thats wasn`t it

-
There was also aremake of day of the triffods maybe thats what ur after bluesman.
Did the tripods tv show ever make it past the first chapter

and i almost forgot !!! ARGH THIS IS WHERE MY TV LICENSE MONEY IS GOING

A bit like burning a swarm of wasps with a burst of fire but would would the atomic missile be powerful enough to kill a massive tank that wasn`t at the centre of the blast ?
-
Just how many times and would ur weapons be in range before u get shot is the question

-
thats assuming speed always = increased crashes

-
-
Yeah, I read that, too.
I thought the Maus was mad, but the Ratte would have dwarfed the bloody thing. It would have been a 1000 to 2000 ton battlecruiser on tracks.

so even though it would have been an easier target ,most weapoins back then would have had a hard time knocking it out of action if they got within range of it.
-
Guess so

Its a shame sega flopped as they had the best set up for going online with consoles

-
-
So what do u think would be more effective for a mech.
A superhuge one or a fleet of little ones, which would remind me of a cloud of wasps if they were flying around

-
Its a shame there isn`t an american "monster raving loony party"

-
Who knows maybe they already have
u can get ur pets chipped easily enough, quick jab between the shoulders with a special syringe and thats it. -
Basicly there is talk of fitting some kind of identification a nd tracking system into cars before or after manufacture.
Im not sure if its going to be done with a RFID chip or if will use some other technology and can`t find too much about it yet.

Speed - not the movie - the bank robbery
in OFFTOPIC
Posted
thats if they called the bomb squad while he was still alive
funny thing is,if the cops sorted it out sooner the pizza guy could of lead them right to the evil guy that`s if this thing wasn`t the pizza boys rob a bank idea in the first place
