In Norway you are required to be a member of a gun-club to keep arms. That usually mean that you shoot alot more frequent than the cops do... For instance; last saturday there were two cops at the range. They shoot Glock 17's (and they're crap at it). I've only shot handguns for 3 years. Meaning: I'm not very good at it IMO. I joined them shooting some bowling-pins and pepper-poppers. They did'nt even bother trying the bowling-pins as they thought they were too small targets. They were impressed by my shooting because I hit the bowling-pins on a 30-meter range. And I was'nt shooting a match-gun. It was the Beretta and the SOCOM. Would you be afraid of them if your life depended on them in a fire-fight? I would  I`d rather i wasnt put in a position where i  had to depend on them rather than myself in the first place. U guys should be kicking up a fuss about these silly laws,look what happened over here.

Errrm... Your forgetting Norway. I think we have the highest prices on boose. Beer costs almost 3 euro in the shops and 6 euro in pubs/bars/resturaunts. A glass of whiskey (Famous Grouse)can cost you almost 10 euros downtown. No wonder we swarm over the swedish border to smuggle boose back to Norway. Duty Free rules are strict here too. You're only allowed to bring 2l beer, 1l wine and 1l liquer into the country. All beer over 5% alc. is strong beer and has to be imported and sold in state owned shops (meaning their also more expensive). Thats why Norwegians tend  to look at the alcohol content before checking what make it is. How much beer do u get for ur 3 dollars? Also whats the alcohol content for liquer,spirits and whiskys in ur countries ??
