Its refined better so it has few impurities but turbines can burn just about anything that will burn. You can run Disel in turboshaft engines like the Allison T250 which is used in commerical helicopter applications.

Generator, not alternator. Tisk, Tisk.

Not really a "force field" but apparently effective never the less. Being and Electronic Engineer Major I would love to know how they generate the voltage and amperage levels required multiple times over without a severe load on the electrical system.

The advantage of the English longbow was that it would be fired quite rapidly as the draw on the bow was quite light. It also had the capability to arch arrows over long distances. The pure volume a cadre of archer's could put up with the longbow increased the chances that an arrow would find the joints in a knight's armor where only chainmail protected him.
-
Draw weights over 185m aren't really nessecary in today's realm of archery hunting. I personally haven't seen many deer walking around with plate and chainmail armor as of late.

The most logical possibility would be using the definition of flashpoint : "The lowest temperature at which the vapor of a combustible liquid can be made to ignite momentarily in air. The point at which eruption into significant action, creation, or violence occurs: “The shootdown did not increase international tensions to the flash pointâ€" That flashpoint is in reference to a potential major conflict and that the phrase "When you see the flash, Its already too late" is in reference to if you see the flash of a flashpoint it is already to late to take action to stop said flashpoint from occuring.

Awwww. To good for us AMD folks huh. Now I get it, we aren't worthy of the almighty Kegetys. Hail the almighty but underperforming Pentium.... Oh and Espectro if you don't care if your motherboard can overcloak there are some very stable and good performing motherboards for around $70 US. Some of Elite Core Groups products are fine boards, just not the ones with onboard video.

Uh. You can afford a 200+ video card but can't afford a 1.6 Ghz athlon+ motherboard for 170?

Kegtey has already told you once the preferences benchmark is a CPU processing capability score only. Nothing to do with your video card. If you want to know how well your system can handle graphical things download 3dBenchmark and see what your score is. That system should be in the 3500-4500 range. Note: A GF4Ti4600 is honestly overkill for that system, you will never get all that you can get out of that card because you system is outdated in that it uses SDRAM. Your system is bottlenecked on its memory bandwidth and system bus bandwidth.

That is because you have A: Some addon that is conflicting with OFP such as That addon which I can't remember right now B: A hacked, cracked, or otherwise pirated copy of OFP.

Many motherboards can get flaky with unmatched modules of memory. For instance my gaming computer is a K7VZA using a VIA VT8363/VT8363A and VT82C686A/VT82C686B chipsets, which gets unhappy unless the PC100/133 modules are installed in same size pairs or triples.

Stop taking the information you find on CS fan sites as gospel. The M82A1 can penetrate up to 34mm of Rolled Homogeneous Armor (RHA) equivalent, which is not enough to penetrate a T-72 anyplace where it matters. You also don't seem to understand what RHA is, or you'd stop equating the potential penetration depth with armor thickness. Lastly, there are no DU rounds for the M82A1 in the US arsenal.<span id='postcolor'> Not to mention angle of impact and deflection. Layered composites and absorption liners. And Frag is 100% correct, there is no DU round for any M82 system. The SLAP (Sabot Light Armor Penetrator) has a tungsten carbide penetrator, not depleted Uranium. Hmm... you would think someone that 'says' they where issued it and trained on it would know what ammo is available for it.

What I believe Mr. Frag is refering to is your fantasy as a U.S. Ranger, or even to be included in the military. As examplified in this thread

One is indeed a lack of common sense in day to day life. I can see how my post can be toward the view to comitting attrocity, but really I see this event was the effect of a decision made between evils with the lesser evil choosen. Or more of a lose/lose/lose situation for all sides. And I would hazard to say that in my view a war between two industrialized nations and maybe any war in general is total war. There are no true innocent, there are no true war crimes because I realize that those terms are applied to things of the Victor's choosing. I can just imagine the trials and "war crimes" that would have occured in Germany had won WW2.

I may have at some point watched that. I read alot and watch alot on history. If you want to know the greatest extent of the truth possible you need to research from both sides of history.

Let me just start by saying that I grow tired of what looks like carefully veiled attempts to agitate selective members of this community by you Denoir. On the topic on hand you must first look at the problem from all sides and all the variables before you can pass judgment on it, even if you don’t have that true right. First you must look at the structure and function of the Japanese government in this era. The Emperor of Japan at the time was a true figurehead if there will ever be one. The true leaders at the time where the Admirals of the IJN and many Generals of the IJA. Few generals of the Japanese Army paid true loyalty to the Emperor, he was merely a figurehead to talk to the people of Japan into compliance. Even though he rarely addresses the people publicly. Then you must understand the Japanese mentality, something that you are sorely lacking on. The Japanese of WW2 rarely would admit defeat, and would rather kill themselves than be captured. Diligent use of the suicide plane or kamikaze is an example of their devoutness to this endeavor. Might I remind you of the end of a famous quote of the time,â€â€¦ we shall fight on the seas, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing sites, we shall fight with ever growing confidence in the air, we shall fight in the fields, we shall fight in the cities, we shall fight in the hills, we will protect our island, we shall never surrender!†If you think the United Kingdom was alone in their resolve to defend their island you are a fool. What the United States faced with the Japan in the ebbing days of WW2 was either a stalemate with the Japanese holed up in their home island but would never surrender of capitulate to any peace talks that where not favorable to them, or a full scale invasion on a people that where determined to defend their land with whatever weapons they could find. Close to if not greater than a million and greater Americans and Japanese would have lost their lives in the attempt. And these where optimistic calculations on the part of the American intelligence organizations. When the A-bombs materialized Truman had to face a horrible decision with no real nice choice. He could both stalemate with the Japanese and keep them in suppression indefinitely with who knows how many eventual Japanese deaths, he could do a full-scale invasion that truly horrified him, or he could use these weapons of mass destruction to hopefully capitulate the Japanese people, not government into submission. When the first atomic weapon was used the Japanese leadership refused to accept that the United States could or would have the resolve to repeat such an operation again. Not only that but in their mentality they would rather be wiped from the earth by such weapons than to surrender. The deployment of the second atomic weapon nick named Fat Boy must have been an unimaginable burden on Truman, and still after that destruction was unleashed a second time the Generals and Admirals and the true leaders of Japan would have rather had the Japanese people obliterated than to surrender. But what they did not account for was the people themselves, rather than see their culture and lives wiped away spoke up and with the support of the Emperor who in one act of his own accord decided that surrender was better than annilation capitulated to the demands of the American government. I doubt any of these words have had an impact on your view or even your attempt to view things objectively. But you must look at all sides of an event if you want to truly understand it. But in closing for those that still believe in the chivalry of war I pose this question to you. Is the populace that supports and grants the solders in the field any less of a viable target than the soldiers themselves? Is the person that makes the rifle round that is used by the soldier to kill another human being any less responsible than the soldier himself?

Denoir, Since it is very late here I will follow up on this later. Suffice to say for now, that is an extremely narrow minded view of those events.
