    Arma Hall Of Shame

    TK'ers Defcon1 clan was full of tkers on Evo server today. Killed two of us to get the chopper, and never said why or sorry. Then killed me again in town again for no reason. Shame a clan has to act that why.
  8. Thats because tracers ignite as they are fired, and dont become fully visible until they are about 50m away from the barrel. Â Its not a bug, its working as intended. Thats what I thought it might be at first. But have seen many videos of them Â
  9. The tracers dont show up untill 50m from the guns for me. Another person I play Arma with has the same problem.

    A.I. =  Very hard

    AI= very easy. Give it some time and you will learn how the ai come at you.

  12. But you know that this value would turn any gun into a freakin rapid fire laser?  Gonna have a look at the weapons soon. Especially the CQB scopes got my interest since i´m trying to do something similar for Bionic. Do the math for that number, its under 750 rpm. I set it at 0.11 (made it slower) to fit in with the BIS weapons. If you were to match the real life M14 speed it would be set to about 0.08. The M14 fires 700-750 rpm in RL. (12.5 shots per second at 750rpm) M14 full auto video

I did a test of the pack and really like it, but I think you should use... reloadTime = 0.11; Â <--maybe even set to 0.10 recoil = "PKMRecoil"; recoilProne = "PKMRecoil"; It is a 7.62 round so it should have more kick. I did a test with the PKMrecoil, and I could get back on target to do about one hit per second. It also has 700-750 rounds per minute (approx) in RL. The M32 does not have a explosion sound for me? Even took my sound mod I have out to see.

    A.i. skill.

    They are good, but could use alot of work on the take cover part. I would like to see them run for a wall then lean out to fire back. maybe even chuck a frag from behind it.

    Oh that you all have done for sure  I just put back in the one you put out before this, and I notice all of the crack sounds seem to be gone in the new version. I have another person going over the sound mod now just to make sure its not my drivers or sound card that makes some of the things sound off. M203 sound is good but the up close sound is low.     I dont notice any change to weapon volume at all? ---- Most of the sound are very nice ***GBU is low, Messed with my eq a bit so it does not sound so bad now The Vulcan impact sound is very very loud. I cant even hear the gun fire over it when it hits at close range. The SVD reload sound is still way loud also. Its louder then the gun fire also. The M24 is alot louder then the SVD. I was right next to the svd and the m24 sound was way over it. Did you remake the a10 cannon sound? Its would seem from what I have heard on videos that it should have more of a buzz sound. The fire fights are great though, and overall its a very good sound mod.

    Sounds nice  On my comp there is the same "lack in volume" though. The SVD reload is very loud. Ka-50 seems to have extra shot sounds after the counter for rounds have stopped, on high mode. BMP2 has same problem with high mode. AH-1Zs cannon is ok for one burst but when held down the sound at the loop seem to lap over. D-30 reload sound a bit loud? Does the Camels grenade have a sound? dont know if you did a sound for it. I cant seems to hear it blow up even with engine off. Main cannon on tanks seem low also I have not spent much time with the stock sounds so i dont really know what they sound like. And it could be just my comp that makes it sound that way? Anyways thats the main things I have found right now.
  20. bummer dont tell me that im just about to install it  by the way i heard it dont run on vista with 8800gtx anyhow mahahamahahamhaha  6600 8800GTX Vista here and it runs with no ctd. I am sure it would run way better with xp though.

    Stop Camping.....arghhh!

    Its the map makers fault   All my maps I made for ofp had what I called (ABR's) Anti Base Rape zones. You walk near another teams  spawn and you would die. Just pick a good spot on the map so the other team cant fire long range into the spawn. Or if you really must have that open spot on a map then place building down so they can spawn in safty. not on my maps

    Higher altitude when flying?

    At a Alt past 4000 or so at max view distance you cant see the ground anyways
  24. The grass is only generated around the player, but its planned that in the final game you cant be seen fully in it, or that even hide in taller grass. I am not to crazy about this idea   How do you know what part of the land has tall grass on it if your far away? How do I know that I might have to run over to that spot to see if tall grass might be on that part of the map? It would seem that I have to remember every inch of the map. The damage system has also been overworked – now you will get a red, faded out screen for a short while when hit and a red spot is indicating the direction of the hit. Why make this like Unreal tournament and all the other very unrealilistic games. This part really makes me cringe   I sure hope they have a option to turn this off. I would not join a server that used it. There are no big ships in the final game, but I saw Special Forces boats on the western side. There will be 2 boats, one with only 1 firing posistion, and another with two. Is there some type of game engine limitation. or did they just not make a large ship. The rest of what I have seen seems to be ok though. I have not had alot of time to read around so if this has been talked about... Â

    Bratty, try that blood mod addon. I am not sure of the name but when you get hit, say from behind, you see blood fly out on the ground in front of you.
