CM Operation Flashpoint 3 announced | "Oops, they're doing it again..."
Blackhawk replied to Undeceived's topic in OFFTOPIC
Not really, F1 2010 works brilliantly for me, very good game. Although, when I play F1 2010, I don't give a toss about Codemasters and all that. I just care about the game itself. It's a good game, however, Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising, is not. -
Brilliant Mission! Although I couldn't complete it, it was just too hard :(

Company of Heroes Developer Killed in Car Accident.
Blackhawk replied to BF2_Trooper's topic in OFFTOPIC
Deeply saddening, saving his Wife and Child in his last moments - hero. A chilling reminder of what drugs and stupid actions at the wheel can do Company of Heroes is still my favourite RTS of all time, brilliant game. -
Does sound like horseshit. I don't believe anything from these minor tabloids or newspapers. I only believe something if I see an actual statement from an official, and that the BBC says something about it. If this is true, it goes against the policies of the current Government.
-
Is this an official announcement? Nothing on the BBC and I have not heard anything about any press statement. Could just be a rumour. If it is true however, I'm still happy, the Hornet is a superb aircraft and proven in combat, I think the F-35 is too expensive, and just unnecessary really. The MoD has been given a very tight budget, and Trident takes up half of it, so they sort of have to make this decision. Although I would have preferred a Naval Typhoon, that would be even cheaper and better than the Hornet.

CM Operation Flashpoint 3 announced | "Oops, they're doing it again..."
Blackhawk replied to Undeceived's topic in OFFTOPIC
This whole project is just a joke.. 1. The fact that they are still going to call it Operation Flashpoint. 2. No Player vs Player 3. No dedicated support, again 4. A map based on an Asian country that probably is incredibly similar to Takistan. Now with the shitty quality that made Skira island, I can assume confidently this will be as bad. Those 4 things, have already persuaded me not to buy the game. -

I sadly fell for OFPDR. I will certainly not be making the same mistake again. -
Toxic legacy of US assault on Fallujah 'worse than Hiroshima'
Blackhawk replied to Joseph Troska's topic in OFFTOPIC
Maybe, it has something to do with the battle of the city, but I think the main causes are just extremely poor heathcare, bad nutrition of the mother, and maybe poisoning from the 1991 oil fires? -

I suppose this will be compatible with OA and Combined Operations, not the standalone ArmA 2? -

British OverHaul Mod ---- Recruiting.
Blackhawk replied to ATP Arma 2 OA Fan's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Yes I know PUKF have done guns and a few vehicles, STALKERGB has done infantry, and RSKL have done more. I don't isolate my self from the mods section of this forum, but I would like a full mod where everything is put together. -

The US will always support Israel unless they do something inexplicable.
-
The most likely reason for the US to attack Iran is if intelligence suggests that a WMD is ready or close to being ready. This is of course, as long as the International Community still opposes a Nuclear Iran. The US would just try and take out Iran's nuclear capacity, if they manage to do that via an airstrike or special forces, There would be no need to invade Iran at all. Sure Iran would be bloody angry at this, but without a Nuclear weapon, what can they do against the US?
-
With the amount of US destroyers surrounding the carriers, I doubt that subs could get anywhere near them. Minesweepers in front of the taskforce to clear any mines, so mines won't be a problem. The missiles will probably be located and destroyed by Special Forces with laser designators as in Iraq. Although, I'm not too sure on how many missiles Iran has.
-
In total there is still about 200,000 spare troops in the US, although, I doubt the US would leave only National Guard and Reserves guarding the country.
-
The US can call upon almost 1 million personal in their armed forces. Only 186,000 of those are in Iraq and Afghanistan. In America. Iraq's army was one of the largest in the world during 1991 so it was inevitable that a bombing campaign would take a long time. As for the paramilitary force, I can imagine only a few of them would voluntary fight any NATO invasion, most of them would just throw their weapons away. Actually, the Iranians say 11 million can be mobilised, independent research shows it is probably only 1 million men.
-
You'll have to leave the Marines and get a branch transfer to the Army first, after that talk to someone related to Spec Ops recruiting.
-
Even though Iran is about half way around the world from the US, I think that the US should be able to launch an invasion with considerable ease. They have an airbase on Diego Garcia which is pretty close to Iran. If an invasion took place while the US is still in Iraq, than they could just use that land border to invade. There are really no US allies that border Iran that would let the US place an invasion force on their lands, this means that it is highly probable that the US would perform an amphibious assault supported by the para drops behind the beachhead. The Iranian army really isn't that great, if they had any chance to repel an invasion, they would have to try and destroy the original landing force before the US unloaded heavy equipment. This would be hard with the USAF and the USN providing round the clock support.
-
Even though Russian-Iranian relations have started to strain in recent years, I don't think Russia would tolerate US Forces in Iran. It's a known fact that Russia and China are trying stop or at least limit US influence in Central Asia.
-
Excuse me, I am Human thank you very much. As far as I know, the US had never done a 'bomber rocket' on China, and care to tell me when? Again? US Airstrike on Iran? When? And people wonder why the lots of people see Islam as a fanatical extremist religion. No, they really don't.
-
So you are one of the people who believe in the conspiracy theory's of 9/11 and the Moon Landings? Interesting. Anyway, back to War with Iran. I support the American policy on Iran and it's nuclear capability. I believe that Iran cannot be trusted with WMD's. The Middle East is just too unstable at the moment, and giving a country like Iran or Syria a WMD would just make it worse, especially considering all the Arabs hate Israel. If Iran got multiple amounts of nuclear weapons, they wouldn't care so much to US threats. I may be sounding a wee bit racist here but I think that Iran, and other Arab countries, are not as sensible as Russia or China, and them being allowed to have WMD's would just encourage them to use it. If NATO intervened, as if invaded Iran, Iran would just use the weapons on the invading troops.

Trying to put this broken English into check, You're trying to say that the USSR and today's Russia are promoting peace? Well... As for the collapse of the Soviet Union, yes, everyone does know who did that. They did it themselves.
