Which is better out of these processors. AMD Athlon64 5600 Socket AM2 Dual Core Processor or Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz LGA775 Processor

First off, thanks RockofSL for helping me work out a computer. About the Lynx helicopter, will the Brimstone missile be fitted or is that for the Future Lynx? It also says in your line-up that the Merlin will have an armed version ("Merlin HM(A)1 - Maritime Assault Version - not official (yet?) Cannon and - CRV-7 instead of Torps"), I have never seen an armed version and google is unable to differentiate the word 'Merlin' from the helicopter and authorian versions. And on the A400M, I thought they don't want them anymore, opting for the more easy acquisition of the C-17 Globemaster III. The other thing is the BAE Corax, is this armed and will it play the same role as the Predator? Other than that, I would love to see what the team have done since the last updates. I would get it if it was a little cheaper and I don't understand the difference between the clip and the other thing.

I have my dad getting the graphics card and he asked me wether I wanted a X1950XT or a X1950, assuming they are different, what should I get? I don't have AGP, only PCI-E and PCI (I assume thats the reason they are named differently). And what of the GEFORCE 7 series, are they better than their ATI competition?

I'm normally an NVidia fan, but in this case go for the ATI card. The 8600GT sucks. Badly. I thought they were both similar? I actually thought that the 8600GT would be better. Any major differences?

I know this is alot to ask for but if I buy the seperate items that you have suggested, would you help me build the computer? What I am looking for is safety, If I turn on the power and the thing frys, I will explode! Is there any pre-built systems you would recomend?

Thank you for that mate. Whould you recommend somewhere to buy it from and I have no cule on computer assembaly. Could I get a 'safe' copy of Windows from, say PC world, should I get XP or Vista? I would still prefer pre-built as I am useless when it comes to computer assembaly.

Hey RKSL Studios. I have just seen your plans for Armed Assault on your websites project page. It says that you are including a Predator UAV, how will this work and why a Predator, not a Watchkeeper? I see you are making British equipment and vehicles, predominantly air and naval assets. Are you going to make British land assets and soldiers? I presume you are going to make British pilots and sailors for your vehicles. The time zone is quite interesting, the FIST program will be fully in by 2012-17, do you wish to simulate what the MoD call Network Enabled Capability and the DoD call Network-centric warfare.

Hey guys, I am new to the community. I was wondering if I could get some help buying a decent computer to play Armed Assault that is possable to upgrade (for the future) for around the 500 pound bracket? I understand a 500 pound computer is not very much by todays standards but I would prefer to spend my money on other things. Thanks.
