Yeah right A little off-topic but the maps in the community refered as ''islands''.And missions as ''maps''. What a mess eh?

Hi gnrnr There is an official mission PvP called Sector Control. There are 5 flags if I remember correctly that you have to control so you can gain points. A bug I have noticed is that the opfor side cannot respawn correctly. I mean you respawn,you hear noises but your screen is black. I am very surprised that this bug never refered or fixed. When I say map I mean mission.I know etimologicaly is not correct but I used to call them maps.

Hey Big add these maps if you can plz. I want to remind that these maps are NOT our creations. Its maps that everyone can download from ArmA Liga's site. @Dr_Eyeball I agree with you.Also I think that BIS have to release some unbugged maps cause in ArmA in every map you could find some bugs.I wish at the end we will be happy with ArmA2 maps either it is Coop or PvP.

The gameplay is basically Hold Location. Also there are some hold and advance maps. There is no need for any addons. The minum is 5vs5 and the maximum 12vs12. Have fun. Edit:You can find all the info you want in the briefing of each mission. If you have any worries just ask.

It also has extended functionality, not just improvements: A new update is due soon, with further changes in future. It will be ported to ArmA2 fairly close to release. Hey Dr_Eyeball hi.. I am pretty sure that CyDoN speaks about maps like the ones that use many leagues like ESL,ArmA Liga,VBL etc. They are very nice optiized maps perfect for fights between teams of 5-6-7 players. I wonder all of those ppl who hate the idea of official PvP tournament maps (not public) have ever played once one of these maps? Give them a try.

Hey mr.angry this is a topic about PvP players and our demand to have some official maps so we can organize tournaments where pro players can measure their skill and have fun.If you don't like it pass over the topic.What's your problem?We ask BIS about something.If you dont like it and you like to play coop,make your missions with the editor,place your (d.....s AI)bots and kill them to get happy. @Gnat:What makes you think that the community is you? Don't forget Sherlock, without OFP, there wouldn't be any ArmA. ArmA is still i in general OFP 2.5. Â There are still some peoples faithful to this game. And how the hell is OFP arcade ? Because it has inferior graphics ? Have you even played the game back in 2001 ? If not ,then maybe I understand, not every of us are bound to gameplay but to graphics and eye candies. Right ? I remember in 2003 that not OFP, but BATTLEFIELD was considered as arcade by the community. OFP and ArmA is pretty much the same, I don't get what upsets you so much when are people debating it's pros and cons. OFP is still a good and better for some players , if you can't deal with it, don't seek it. I am using xfire not for a long time.I have recorded 180hours in 1 month and about 2000 since I play ArmA. I think ArmA is my second girlfriend.

Whats the point of a topic like that?OFP was a good game,ARMA was better. Whoever likes OFP go play OFP. Whoever likes ArmA go play ArmA. OFP had a good single player.But single player is useless. Thats why ArmA is better.Cause it has better multiplayer. ArmA of course is more realistin.OFP is like arcade in front of ArmA. I love OFP but what the fuck you OFP maniacs?Enough....

If your system really is powerful then low FPS is likely to be a problem on your side. My old PC is running the game great at 1440x900 at 4xAA. How about some details? I have noticed the same on my old system: Pentium 4 @ 2.5Ghz 6800GT 256MB 2GB ram The game runs smoothly at low-very low settings. But on my new system the fps are crap whatever the settings.

WoW,amazing quality as always.Stunning work guys. Whoever complains about the textures let me say this.This Apache is Greek not US so I think that the textures are as fine as they have to be.

Its a great idea but I think that BIS is busy with the coop campaign and the warfare mode.

I think that someone with: -video making experience -addons and mods of the community should very easily make an ArmA version of this teaser.So for me its just a patch.Nothing special.Sure I will buy the game.But please dont release it without some good PvP maps.Cause as I see the AI is dumb again(no problem for me though).
