campaign button blacked out in v1.2

i re-installed with the updated title and still no campaign available. i thought the game was officially released and is on version 1.2? SOLVED. the instructions on my email were glitched and i only saw the links. i did not realize i needed to clear out my profiles as well as the play and contribute before installing. you may delete this post.
