    FlashFx Units Replacement pack 5.0!

    The replacement of the "new" explosion seems to be necessiary, but it´s too bad, cause they really look cool. A solution would be an "expert" who can modify the effect itself, so that less debris is produced by the explosions and (if possible) the debris would be removed from the map after a few seconds. Isn´t there anyone out there, who can manage it?

    I think the main cause of the "new" explosion lag is the very, very large ammount of debris and parts they produce. Just look at the radar after a tank battle and you know what i mean. Removing the ai scripts and the feetdust gave me back some frames but reducing the debris from the effect_pack explosins needs a coder, who knows what he does (and i´m far from being a coder). I think, if there is anybody out there succeding in this should make the replacemen-pack playable again without loosing this damn ....ing-nice-sparky-turret-flying-away-explosion (i love it).

    Hey, nice work, as always!!! Just two things: 1. Flashram kills the framerate (and i have some kind of monster machine). BTW the effect was nice, for two minutes. then it really went on my nerves. 2. YOUR old fuelexplosion got much more ooomph, as you know what i mean. The ICP effect is just nice, yours is great. But those things are easy to edit in the cpp, so don´t bother me

    To the blood thing. In "normal" flashfx you can see drops of blood on the floor, when you shoot at somebody or been shot. I think it´s the same effect used in ECP. With the tracers activated the blood effect does not longer work and you can see the BIS blood instead. Does nobody else have this "problem"

    Hi, the tracer effects are really nice, but they seem to break the flashFx blood effect. Is there a way to fix it?

    uhh...i really don´t want to bother you, but it would be really nice to release the newest config.cpp, too. This would make editing much easier, and also i could learn from a real config-master

    @Nemesis, please forget my email, i just found it out for myself. Once again, FlashFx is the best visual improvement i`ve seen for OFP. GREAT WORK . With a little work, i´ve implemented your cool stuff to Y2K3. I´ve also added some ORCS-Effects and leave some "old" GMR-Explosions. So i have a large variety of special effects and for me, it´s now the best OFP ever. I don`t think that it is possible to share my config.bin with the community, ´cause i bet that someone would be pissed off for not asking them for "permission". I can´t understand this attitude (for example by some FDF-Members readable in this topic), ´cause all these things are for free and developing together is the idea of a community But maybe it´s to high for a noob`s mind
