    Bare in mind, we stopped using those big tv-like star light amplifier which are mounted above the cannon years ago, around the mid 90's, and started using thermal-imaging devices which are built inside the tank. It looked like this ever since.

    Moreover, the use of the Magach 6B tank in the IDF stopped when the Merkava MK4 entered regular service around 2004 and the 401th brigade (which regularly used the Magach 6B) moved to utilize the Merkava MK4.

    All of the remaining Magach 6B tanks became scraps and the reserves forces that used to be a Magach 6B crewmen were re-trained as a Magach 7c crewmen - I know this because they're now in the same battalion as me in reserves smile_o.gif

    Btw, armored corps crewmen NEVER used M16s until very recently - we used Galil SAR. The M16s where too whimpy to withstand the physical punishment everything that got on a tank had - the M16s usualy just broke down or got jammed because of all the sand and dust the tank would rise during training...


  2. The FFUR pack v5.0 uses 2 kinds of grenades , a grenade which bounces several times before exploding and a grenade which rebounds linearly 2 times before exploding.

    the first boucing effect's intended to the grenade M61

    and the second bouncing effect's intended to the soviet F1 grenade

    It has been done for more realism

    I'd just like to point out that the F1 granade has a 1.5 secs delay before detonation, so imo for more realism you should just time the granade... As for the US granades, if they're similar to the israeli granades, they should have a 4.5 secs fuse... smile_o.gif


  3. In addition i'd like to report a bug i already reported, but it was not fixed on the latest patch -

    While viewing through AT/AA weapon's scopes, if "B" is pressed for binocs, the view is switched to normal view and the weapon is stated to be Binoculars, but the weapon ITSELF is not switched to binoculars, so you cant even fire the AT/AA weapon or using binocs view, so you are forced to switch back to any weapon.

  4. Oh and I still got the old one at the start "ADDON 'OWP_MI26'  REQUIRES ADDON 'OWP_CREW' " I checked and OWP_Crew is there so I need some help guys

    To fix this error, just go to Ofp\addons directory and delete both OWP_MI26.PBO and OWP_CREW.PBO from the directory. FFXUR already has both of the files, so it collides with the files you have in the addon directory and produces this error smile_o.gif


  5. Were sorting out the things we have for now. There are no new additions going on as far as i know , only activity on the ECP front these days is testing for bugs. MP/SP both.

    Can you guys please do some new screenshots and post them here? you gotta admit this topic needs a little boost, esp. when, as you say, you're so close to release the mod... smile_o.gif

Buggish - when you use any AT/AA sights and while you're looking through them, you press "B" for binoculars, you just being throwen out of the sights view to normal view, still holding the AT/AA weapon, but the weapon is described as "Binoculars", and to switch back to anything else you have to do it through the action menu...

    And thats it tounge_o.gif


  7. Basically, the guy takes the beta or full version of the latest official driver and does some tweeking. Mainly he/she enitiates the features/fuinctions that the offical company didn't want you using. They also just make it more efficient from being better programmers.

    If you have a Radeon card then you'll get best performance from the Omega drivers and if you have nVidia you'll get best performance from the DNA Force drivers.

    Well i have a radeon but the omega drivers seems to make more trouble than good, so you should bare in mind that their efficiency depends on one's system specs...

    1st i'd just like to thank you guys for the great work you've done with this mod! smile_o.gif

    2nd, i'd really appriciate you help in a problem i expirience after installing the FFX 3.5 - first thing, i get an error when i start the game, saying im missing the MI26_CREW addon (while i definatly dont - i have this addon and all of its files installed correctly, including the crew addon), and the second error im having is the most significant one - you see, im playing in The-Platoon clan, and we're playing in the ECL. after installing your mod OFP will not let me play ECL maps correctly - it freezes after the map intro at the beginning of the match, plus i cant switch to side channel.... when i log on to the server i get a messege mummbeling about an error in the config/intro or something similar...

    Im very sorry if im poking at a matter that already have been delt with, but i've looked for a solution to this in the forums and came out with nothing (maybe i looked at the wrong place rock.gif)

    If anyone knows how to fix this please tell me how or at least point me to the direction where i could find the solution, because i miss playing with my clanmates smile_o.gif
