"Hey I'm a greedy publisher and I sell games for 65€ with a brand new and untested copy protection... why does everyone download pirated copies of my games instead of buying them? " now that's a question those big publishers haven't asked themselves yet...

it's prolly because people used to think that communists were a threat to the whole world (lots of people think that way these days as well) so they have to look like the average bad guy. and Chipper's right about the chinstrap... the helmet looks like some kind of a pot without it

if I had any idea of how much one needs to invest in it to get it on the shelves I'd ask every person I know with that kind of money if they'd be interested in a little business... releasing ArmA is 100% risk-free!
-
omg that ruined my day
-
some tweaks to the good old RTCW/ET roles system and it'd be very suitable for OFP/ArmA
-
sure hope so, but I don't think there will be a match to OFP main theme, its' just something out of this world Truly, I still remember the moment when i first played the demo and the main theme music started blaring and the cutscene showed some cool mannable vehicles.. it blew me away as well back then. when I heard it the first time I knew OFP would become a lifestyle the demo must be the most effective one I've ever seen.

yet another cash out by Micro-f***ing-soft

now this is just the thing for me

and it's very sad if we don't get the game just cos publishers are blind if I just had the money... I'd be the world wide publisher

I wonder who'll make the first 'sunbathing hot chicks' addon no blood textures on them pretty please my world would collapse seeing them torn apart and mutilated

have you checked out the good old winter Everon? it's awesome for being so old

Which addons and/or Mods should be finished first?
PainDealer replied to Shinkansen's topic in ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
some ppl who want something out of the list being finished first... I'd like SOMETHING to be released but prefer Somme -
It does because the 'heavier' projectile will have a lower muzzle velocity due to inertia, but will maintain its velocity for longer due to momentum (which is greater for an object of higher mass). The 'slower' projectile gets to its target later so has more time to succumb to gravity. but the heavier bullet needs less wind correction btw that DL link takes me absolutely nowhere

I think that WAS the actual purpose. If I had to guess I'd say it will be included cos I feel BIS hasn't changed that much in the ways they do things. It's like Tarantino's "trunk view", included in his every movie.

well... "stable" is a state when your condition doesn't change. you could be stable in a coma for 10 years and in Richard's case I think the slightest snap in any direction could take his life. only time will tell... thumbs up

looks like the US will poke their... arhm have a campaign in Thailand quite soon

actually it's the most spoken "native language"... english is the most spoken in any manner
-
scope looks improved yes, but does someone actually use scopes in CQB if the ranges are less than 50m
-
seems quite obvious to me

I did that when I was young. That's why I'm back in school at age 27, studying something that I actually find interesting, instead of making money doing something I really don't give a shit about. I've got the scary feeling I've just read my future. pople making wrong decisions is a common problem and should be for me... I think I haven't gone the wrong path now that I got to study something I've been dreaming of the past 8 - 9 years

University of Applied Sciences - Maritime Department began last monday *EDIT* ...and spending my few Euros on every "Students' Night" (partying is a sacred thing in "The Sea School" and should be practised whenever possible)

surely would be a mini-mod... not much content to add there

If you're standing in the middle of an open field and you get shot in the back there is a 180 degree area behind you that the shot could have come from, which could cover hundreds if not thousands of meters in the case of a sniper. it would be fair to at least know which part of the body got hit. but there's also this teenie weenie shock factor. getting hit in the torso usually changes the victims condition quite fast if he's not on meth or high adrenaline or other boosting chemicals. chance of having a shock and thus not knowing the direction of the hit or anything that's happening nearby would add some more spice but that's something I wish for Game2. four sectors would be ok, and which part of the body got hit. exact direction would be kind of... radar-like thing.
