Just waiting on the zombies. Me and a few friends have started to zombie up some vehicles n junk. I also got the layout of a great mp mission (I hope) were you have scrounge for weapons, ammo, vehicles, car parts, gas and other stuff. You will also be able make baricades n junk to hold off attacks. Zombie Life is not that far off. -
I agree with all you guys, but if he does not like and will not accept not playing on server that has it then he has no choice to remove it and to play with himself.

Knife is great for rp maps. Might also be used as a work around to make civs (Zombies) atack people. Flash bangs are good also but I would rather see tear gas more.

If you don't like the MHQ or respawn just edit the mission and take them out. I do it all the time for maps I like but "I" think need a few changes to make them more fun for me and my guys. (This is only done on a private server and original credits are kept for all to see)

Just want a nice big island and another island (or two, three) farther out so there would be reason to have airports on the maps. Would aslo make the use of ships and boats more fun. FYI: The City Life II mod is looking for an experienced island maker to help us out. (sorry if this is wrong place to ask, but if I broke any forum rules by doing so please just delete this post) -

Great looking map. This was fun in ARMA on with Zombies all over it. Now if we can only get them working for ARMA II then I can port over the same maps I made for this and we can have some real fun with Zombie evolution. -
Lol Thank god we released the source codes and scripts for the ARMA one version of City Life or it might be us also riding the see saw. The same will happen with City Life II. Once all the scripts and addons are finalized and bug free they will be given to the community to play around with and help others. I do have to agree tho it kinda sucks when people take all the work you have done and put their names on it and claim they made it even tho they just moved a few things around or changed a line of code here and there.:mad:

The error is caused by the server not having the addon. All others will see you as the basic unit not the one with the extra helmets, glasses, mask ect ect unless they also have the addon. -

Nope. The main idea is to be balanced. The civs actualy have a say in making the laws, deciding jail time and fines along with alot of others. We don't want it to be "Cop Life" like the other maps we have seen. For every thing the cops have the civs have a conter and vise versa. It is set up so civs can rob other civs and all that other good stuff. The cops will be there to help civs not to kill and give tickets for making u turns in the middle of west bubble f*ck. -

It will be released to public but only after all the bugs and testing are done. We have no problem with helping out with scripting, model making, and training if we are asked. For now we are keeping it in house because we had the same thing happen to us were one version of our mission (v1.34) was taken and most of our beta addons also. This other "mod" has removed the original devs names and have replaced them with their own. You should also know that we are training the police that play on the server so we don't have any of this SL and SLR death matching going on between cops and civs. -

You might want to scale down your pics. A mod will get you for that. To view that config normal you need to get the "unrap" utility. I might be hard to belive but there is a search button at the top of forums. Try it, it still works. -
City Life has been there and done that. We had our mission taken and turned into a "New MOD" with out being asked. The original devs were removed from the credits and replaced. Beta addons that were not ready for release were also taken. It is one thing to use a mission file and alter it for your "personal" use but it is wrong to take a mission file & addons and start your own "mod" and not give credit were it is due.

You need to have an edited version of the old Extended Event Handlers (not the new CBA one, it won't work with that one). Use search function to find or if you want I can email it to you. http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=3041 Download that and put in your addons folder. Now you can fly with flares and also add them to other plane/helo addons by changing the FLARES.hpp file. Don't worry that it says ARMA I tested it and it works just fine in ARMA2. -

Note models look great and have shadows but has a problem with missing sounds "SCAR_L_SINGLE.SOUND BEGIN". It is almost all new codes, functions and scripts due to old CityLife mission being taken with out permission and edited. It will include alot of new things. If you guys want I will post links to vids showing stuff like the skateboards, saketboard park, new police cars/trucks/helos, new "civ" style weapons, tazer gun/tazer shotgun, house construction from start to end, ingame logins, new buildings, vehicles such as ambulance/spotrs cars/robinson R44 civ helo/tow truck that actualy tows/some construction vehicles, abilty to "go shoping" for food/drink/furniture, lots lots more that I know I forgot. I was trying to hold off on posting in bis forums till we were ready with a workable beta for ARMA2 but I guess the cat is out of the bag. If the demand is enough I will start a new thread or keep posting here dpending what the mods want. :bounce3: -
