  2. We have a private server, we are clan, we do not host public games. So no worries about an empty server :) @Dimitri I still do not know how to check if a connecting player has an addon activated.

  4. See now... why is it signed as .i44? This means that if I am a server admin, I can't force people not to use STHUD. For us, STHUD disturbs the atmosphere in the game, but since it is signed as the rest of the pbos, we can't force players not to use it. That is annoying, also, it is a bit strange that you are forcing players to use this since it is a quite radical thing to add. Is there any way you could add a function to disable STHUD on all clients or similar? I know you did not develop the mod, but you added it to I44 so this is the correct thread for this.
  5. This is a video from last nights game. 40 players. We are using UNSUNG + ACE + a few custom addons. We are also using TPW Suppression which is why everyone fires like crazy into the bushes(the AI really gets pinned/suppressed). And here is a cool screenshot from the mission.
  6. Not sure if this is an OK place to post this video. SSG Clan (Swedish strategic group) did an UNSUNG special sunday OP. 45 players vs AI on Ia Drang. I thought it would be nice to share :) The mission was simple. Alpha and Bravo are stationed on the north side of the island. Bravo is out in the woods just south west of LZ Albany. Their mission is to clear the VC Camp somewhere to the east of their current position. Meanwhile Alpha will be flown in to LZ Albany, secure the LZ then move out west and check an old VC camp to make sure it is still cleared. After that check is done, Alpha will move back to the LZ and meet up with bravo who should be on their way. Once Alpha and Bravo are at the LZ the groups will to a quick RTB to re-arm and take care of the wounded. Then they will return to LZ Albany and to a sweep south east. We had a great time and will do another OP next sunday. Mission maker was me. Lots of special made scripts and graphics and also music for this mission. Not sure what is shown of it in the video though. It's a 2 hour video from an FTL in Alpha Squad. So I'll highlight some of the moments. 00:00 LZ Albany with contact. 10:00 Securing the LZ. Reinforcements arrive. Sproradic contact.. 37:00 Alpha + a part of Bravo (that died and respawned), move west towards the target area. 42:00 Contact! 50:00 The bravo fireteam and och Alpha four moves up to the gun line (finally!) 52:00 Rigge sucks (a player) 01:04:00 Tactial retreat with contact. 01:15:00 Back to LZ, with contact. 01:24:00 Boarding the helicopters... or? 01:29:00 Moving out towards the second objectiv. Formation with bravo squad 01:40:00 Contact! Two steps forward, one step back.

Yeah we never made a model for it, just a class with function :) then we just added that item to the radio units :) our stuff was made for internal use a year ago (because we really need acre/ACE haha :D ). We don't plan to release it since it is not official UNSUNG stuff. We are super excited for a new release! If we can help in any way, just let us know.
  9. If it is not too much of a hassle, would it be possible to have the backpacks on units as OA-backpacks, or ACE-packs, instead of just being a unit with a backpack modeled on it? We (SSG) have done some extra stuff for UNSUNG, like an invisible ruck that has ACE config, for use on units that have backpacks modeled on them. Also we made our own ACRE radio.

    I get: cannot load texture dmweapons\data\detailmaps\hog_dt.paa If this addon is released as an independent addon, then maybe it would be best not to link to another addon :) I also get black textures on the shemag and bags on the back, depending on viewing angle, when looking at units placed on the map.

  12. Regarding the special version: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/96469595/TPWCAS_DSC_v0.2.zip this version of TPW CAS/LOS thinge casues extreme server lag! It took us some time to figure out :) But with this on, we drop 15 FPS on our server! NO AI, 40+ players, TPW OFF = 50 FPS. NO AI, 40+ players, TPW On = 35 FPS.

  14. I can second this. AH6J has no suppression effect at all with the guns or rockets.

My guess is that when you do lots of suppression on one unit the game gets lag. Its like you get a buffer of suppression, then the server dumps all at once and we get 3000 desync on each player.   23. We did yet another test and we get desync and lag issues with TPW Supress. Most happen when M2s and similar weapons fire.

    I have a question regarding the first mission in the campaign and the map, how did they do that? The thing with the map. It has borders and is concentrated to the area etc.
