    Regarding the gunners periscope; when I started to make the interior I did not know how to make them work properly. Now I know how to archiv that, but it would be combined with some extra work which I don't want to spend on that to be honest. Regarding the magazines; if you can give me some good interiour pictures of the SA-13 I might improve the commanders place. Up to now the magazines are there to distract from the fact that I don't know how the real commanders place would look like  PSC [edit]I'm from Germany, not from Spain. But I like the Bumblebee man from The Simpsons and this guy from Mexico from which the Bumblebee man is derived[/edit]

    Hey Vikingo! Nice to read that you like the addon (well, it's nice to read that all of you guys like the addon). This LOD thing is not caused by the Voodoo card. If I find the reason for the bug and make an update you can have the SA-13 in its grandeur from all distances even with a Voodoo card. Regarding the seriousness, you can be sure I did not want to make fun of the Russians. To be exact, I like Russia and the Russians a lot (even if I don't approve what they do in Chechnya). I've been in Russia once (in St.Petersburg) and I would love to go to Russia again (I want to travel with the transsibirian railroad to the ozero Bajkal, Irkustsk, Ulan-Ude, Vladivostok, etc.). But anyways this does not keep me from adding little jokes to the addons I make (I just can't resist ). And be honest, is it so bad to see a Lenin with a red hat? (it's just a red hat after all). Anyways, I don't think there is a way to make the crew visible while turned in on tracked vehicles. There is a way to make them visible. If you forbid them to turn in/out (if they are kinda "turned out" permanently, but inside the vehicle). But I prefer to have this possibility (turn in/out) with the costs of invisible drivers/commanders. PSC

    The drivers and commanders on all models of the MT-LB addon package are invisible when they are turned in due to a game-engine limitation. As far as I know it is not possible to make them visible when they are not turned out (maybe someone knows better and can tell me how). I fixed this "plane" bug on top of the MT-LBV. Thanks for the hint. This plane actually is a useless part of the hull. I deleted it. PSC

    All versions (MT-LB) have 5 LOD's. I checked them. All of them are there and textured. SA-13 has six LOD's. 5 like the MT-LB plus another one with even less detail for really far away distances. I checked them too. I too realised that they sometimes dissapear. But I don't know what could cause the bug and how to solve that. PSC P.S.: Maybe it's your Voodoo Dutchsoldier. I tried to keep all textures sizes to power of 2. But maybe the Voodoo card can't handle some size ratio.

    Wee, they might not work due to a problem with your computer (maybe problems with other addons? I don't know). On my computer they work fine. PSC P.S.: It's not a beta. It's a full version. But there will be an update with new versions (SA-13 Snow and ZU-23-2 Versions) in a adequate time.

    Hey guys, The missiles of the SA-13 have a minimum range of at least 600 m to operate. Otherwise, if you are closer to the target, the commander will not order the gunner to attack. Also the hit ratio is very low. On some page I have read that the target destruction probability is 0,3 to 0,6 (I guess 1 means 100%). Which versions don't work? Have a good Christmas! PSC

  13. Does that mean that scripts in addons are MP usable? If I include them into the pbo everyone who uses the addon will have the script and so can run it (if it is run from the init line of the config.cpp). For instance, if I want to change the textures of an addon with only one p3d file I could make selections in Oxygene, define them in the CfgModels section, add a script.sqs to the pbo file with a line like this for every texture - selection: vehicle setObjectTexture [hidearrayindex,texturename] and add this Init-Line thing to the config.cpp, which will run the script. And if someone would place the addon in the editor it would swap the files if the addon is used... But does it work in MP? Joe

    Any sam made?

    The Strela 10 Rocket used by the SA-13 system has an Infra Red Seeker. It's not radar guided. They have the TELAR system on board which is a "range only" radar, but if they fire the missile it uses it's own IR guidance system.

    My suggestion, 'Try & Error'! If you say config speed is 250 and ingame 500, try config 100 and see what happens in game. And don't get mad if the ingame speed will not be exactly 250 km/h, but 260 or 240... Thats just a guidance value.

    The textures you see in Bulldozer are just preview textures. They are not shown in full resolution (I thinnk Bulldozer can only show textures up to 256x256). But my knowlege might be out of time. I'm still using my first version of Bulldozer. For full resolution you need to check your model in the game. PSC

    Just an idea. Why does it have to be a real conflict like the Russian and Chechen war? I would suggest to create a fictional war scenario which involves the Russians and maybe a ficitional country located somewhere the far away regions of the former Soviet Union.
