*sigh* Isn't this the 3rd post of this issue in the last two/three days? More importantly Placebo restated that this will be fixed. Please read before posting I can't understand why such a small detail have gotten so much atention. OFP-fans really need to prioritize. What should we complain about, clipping problems or flags being backwards? two second fix... select texture, flip horizontally

image I don't believe the Iraqi National Guard use RPG's. Need corroboration on that though.

Apparently it's newest members don't share those values. Indeed, but that's the paradox of democracy: we grant full freedom to even those that seek to destroy us. We are tolerant even to the intolerant. Change that and you'll mess up the whole concept. well then. What else can I say. Enjoy the ride I guess.

I'm not silencing any criticism nor do I want any "gratefulness". I won't stand by as loudmouths hurl every stereotype at right-center americans.

a bad omen for the future of European culture. Â I fear this will be commonplace in twenty years. The dawn of Eurabia.. end of Europe as we know it.
-
Oh you hypocrite, stupid, mindless, blind sheep....just like us Germans in 1933. right... the biggest mistake America ever made was to prop up a BS government in West Germany after WW2. Â I think rotting under the Bolsheviks would have been an appropriate fate for you Germans. Instead, we foolishly rebuilt your country.
-
Just curious what people have owned for vehicles on this board. I'll post what I currently drive and what I've owned in the past soon.
-
heh.. my German was correct. I checked that out.

Age 30. Â Former active duty signaleer; currently a national guardsman. Â In my military travels, I have found myself in South Korea and Germany and Egypt as well as many of their neighbors. Have a degree in Computer Science.
-
hmm... I never found any German to be particularly "courteous" but I believe it just a cultural difference. For example, walking down a street in Germany and giving a innocent friendly greeting in German to a stranger seemed to evoke more suspicious stares than anything else.

Albert, Â It's not a complete withdrawal. Â There will be a small amount of U.S military remaining in country (<10,000 I think). Â I'm pretty sure they will not be shutting down the Landstuhl hospital. Frankly, I don't understand the angst. Â This is the completely logical next step. Â I'm surprised it took over a decade for this to come about. Think of all the free housing the German government will be acquiring.
-
The U.S probably doesn't want too many troops around Germany when the German economy collapses in 10 years. Â
-
heh.. I was a signal guy and I just thought it was a safety device!

the tiedowns are wrapped around the top of the doorpost between the front and rear doors. Once the proper height is determined, the excess rope is "braided" up the rope to increase its strength. For a single antenna humvee the tiedown looks like a right triangle from the front. For dual antenna humvees, they form an X over the humvee when viewing from the front.
-
I'll fix it. yes. Â I know. Â I couldn't think of a closer description with a word or two. Â I guess its like a teardrop.
-
much better. Â also note that the antennas should have a small "icecream cone" shaped ball at the end for safety. edit: please no iamge quoteing

When I was active, every canvas was flat OD green or sand. The hummv's look great. Â I have one little nitpick though. Â Being a commo guy, I'd like to mention that those antennas should be tied down. Â BIS actually did a good job with the antenna tie-down on their default jeep.it wobbles around just like that in real life. Â if you need any specific information on how they go, I can provide that information.
-
Parvus, Â I'll give the voice overs a shot. Â PM me the lines you want done.

sounds like the typical viewdistance issue. If you're going to play the original campaign, set viewdistance to 900.
