    Bis screws up again...

    Well congrats BIS, when ofp was released i & many others were hoping for a good multiplayer experiance..you guys delivered a game which is THE MOST painfull game known to man or dog to get a game out of in multiplay, even after god knows how many patches... And now we have resistance, and congrats again you have now successfully split your shrinking multiplayer community in half, Eastern European strategy at its craziest, and no i will not be buying resistance, but i may kazaa it to keep up with the  netcode, if its worth the effort.... If you guys had spent the last year making the original game live up to its multiplayer potential (and the hype on the box) you would find a lot more ppl willing to fork out money for any number of new addons you want to come up with this year. Ofp is still great fun to multiplay if you can get around all of the barriers that prevent it from being popular, but i for one have run out of patience with it. Ok i'll let the kiss ass regulars toast me wit flames now

  4. Well if there is one thing BIS should have learned from the flashpoint experiance its that the netcode/multiplayer part of the game is, well...'flawed' shall we say? Dont get me wrong, i play ofp multiplayer all the time, but the game is screaming for join in progress and real dedicated server support that GSP's wont turn their noses up to

    Well hullo Vipersheart, fyi im not german, it just sounded like avon lady had sneezed If your 'mod' is gonna be set in todays timeline then i stand by what i said - for a long time now Isreal seems like her own worst enemy... However if i had to suggest something it would be to stear well clear of involving any current regimes...you'll probably save yourself even more political hassle if you avoid doing this thing entirely

    well it looks like if these things are possible it certailnly isnt easy...unless anyones got a premade scripts? ...shame though i had this wicked idea for a map....

Is it possible to make ai civi's attack resistance, east & west forces? ...oh, could you tell me how too do that aswell please also...is it possbile to simulate a melee attack when a unit has no guns? - like touching a particular unit will cause pain...   12. My convoy seems to stop for a time at every way point, very anoying...seeing as this convoy is supposed to be rushing re-inforcements to the battle field they need to get the lead out... How can i make them "hawl ass"?
  13. I want to end my coop map when both east & west forces are wiped out (u play as resistance) Help would be muchly appreciated...

    Dawdler "And Puke it might have something to do with the fact that his character, the soldier was already IN the game when he started... Did he join like, before there was a man just standing there then suddenly it was player controlled, or what? describe it closer. Or did he came in as a seagull? Or did he just pop up?" - All i know is he was in game at the start as a soldier, crashed + disconnected, a few minutes later he reconnected and there he was at the start of the map as the same soldier + all his gear (i think)

    Joining during a battle

    You lot wont believe this but...it happened! - kinda there was six of us playing a 1.27 coop game with NO respawn, one of our squad - "Porta" crashed & so disconnected...we played on and about five mins later Porta reconnected but he didnt start in the lobby no, HE JOINED OUR GAME IN PROGRESS! ok, he was there from the start but the fact is he did join a game in progress - i have witnesses! If the bugs in ofp can make this happen why not the rest of it?
