At the end of WW2 the Germans had missiles that could fly from Germany to Britain and the US had.. erm... nothing! And the US has really shown how good they are at spying.

As far as i have seen iraqi tv has shown 1 M1 in the last couple of days. It is quite possible the news channels haven't been showing everything but I have seen the same BMP shown several times as a US tank . Overall I've seen I'd say about 5 M1s destroyed. There are probably a few more that we haven't seen. I was quite funny seeing the Apache on the back of the truck

Also there are pictures of several of them.  He also says the airport is not really under coalition control and that small numbers of coalition forces return to the airport after retreating, for propaganda purposes.  Since this is war, the truth is probably somewhere in the middle, certainly not where coalition tries to put it.<span id='postcolor'> Nah he's talking crap.If there were more destroyed US tanks they would surely show them not try and claim a BMP is a US tank And the fact that sky news are showing pretty regular reports from the airport shows that it is fully under Coalition control. I think it is fair to say at this stage that the Iraqi army is fucked and no amount of wishful thinking is going to change that.

Reuters raw video has footage of a burnt out M1 and what looks to be a bmp. I doubt more US armour was destroyed or Iraqi TV would surely be showing it.

Iraqi TV showing celebrations around what they claim is a US IFV. The turret was separated and there was no fire. I'm watching on streaming video so it was hard to see but it looked like a BMP to me  Edit: US claims of Iraqi casualities reduced to a couple of hundred.

According to the commander of the 3rd Infantry 1 dead and 1 critically injured in this mornings excursion into Baghdad. Hundreds of Iraqi casualties.

A tank commander was SHOT? Â Don't tell me the Americans went into Central Baghdad, "turned out" so to speak? If that's the case, I've heard it all. You should put this story in the Military Stupidity thread.<span id='postcolor'> Most of them seemed to be turned out firing their machine guns. I'm not sure if the commander who was killed was in the M1 that was disabled. Apparently the engine was on fire and the crew got out and tried to put the fire out while the commander shot at iraqi infantry with his handgun

There seemed to be some m113s involved. I don't think i'd like to be there in one of those.

Heaps of coaliton soldiers died! And he is also saying that he didn't see any coalition troops anywhere in Baghdad!<span id='postcolor'> Hmm. I guess that sky news reporter at the airport must have been a bit confused then. Anyway footage on sky news of m1's driving along main roads in baghdad shooting the shit out of pickups and trucks is pretty convincing. One M1 definitely lost and 1 tank commander was killed. Edit: US forces apparently drove through some of the suburbs destroying the defences and then pulled back which is why no reporters in the city can see them. It looks like a devastatingly effective attack but really nowhere near the centre of baghdad.

How about the idiotic LAW soldiers? Sitting on top of a hill, can see a bmp clearly at the bottom of the hill. Tell a law soldier to attack the bmp and off he goes running down the hill. Ten feet away from the bmp he decides to stop and shoot at it.

I saw one that was nearly finished in the ofpeditingcenter forums -
First off i've heard that it is possible for an m1 to blow the turret off a t-72 but it's due to the ammo and fuel exploding so the javelin video might not be a fake. About the .50: If it uses .50 BMG rounds then would that be the round used in the .50 mounted on hummers etc. If it is then i don't know how it can be banned for use on people (watch black hawk down . Also i've seen pictures of israeli snipers in the west bank with barretts. They obviously don't mind using it on palestinians.

OPERATION FLASHPOINT P3D HACKED!!!!
Potatoman replied to quakergamer's topic in ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
The plugin King Kong found is not for opflash's p3d. There are a number of different p3d formats and opflash's format is just used by bis so no publicly available plugins. I think this probably isn't a hoax cos A-Lone-Wolf is pretty well known anded trusted.
