Got Arma 2 DVD on C:

Got OA on Steam on C:

GOT BAF lite on Steam on C:

All patched to 1.55

All games enabled in options menu

Still falling back from MP games into server selection menu.

Win 7 64 bits

BTW: Running just Arma 2 MP works just fine

I Own Arma 2 DVD version and OA on Steam, both are patched 1.08...but after I select a MP game, it loads...and just before you should go ingame, it takes you back to the server selection.

Yesterday it worked just fine.....

Im running Arma just fine here.

7800GTX

2 GB of Ram

AMD X3800 processor

Now, im about to upgrade my GPU to a 8800GTS 640 MB.

In theory, this should increase the overall performance.

But what I noticed is that a lot of slowing down in FPS is because of the harddisk loading stuff ingame.

So question is, what is exactle performance critical hardware?

I ask this because i got this feeling the 7800GTX should be enough, or is Arma indeed a GPU intensive application?

Well that could be true but not entirely.

When I ran XP, I could patch the downloaded German version with the official patches. Now, with Vista, it gives the CD/DVD error message

So there must be something happening in Vista which makes it not to run ArmA.

Anyone?

Hi All,

This might be an old topic, but im not sure.

Recently installed Vista Ultimate and cant play Arma anymore.

Thing is, when installing 1.00 German Downloaded version, I got the DVD activation question and it worked.

When I upgraded to 1.02 it all of a sudden sais I got the wrong CD/DVD.

Ive read some topics about this but am I right there's no solution yet?
