Is this a bug ? Or a mean to permit to low end PC owners to play ArmA and all together to play MP ? With 1.05, ArmA is really playable on my old rig (AMD XP2000+, 1,67Ghz - 7600 GS 256) ... with distance wiew at 500 m. Playing infantry it's all right. With 1.05, ArmA is really fun to play on my new "ArmA ready" thing (CoreDuo6600 - X1950Pro 512), unless you pilot plane. Setting wiew to more than 2500 m seems to change nothing ... haze everywhere. But, as it is now, we can play a Lan on 2 PC in very near conditions. If things are changed to permit a real 10.000m view, there will be too big a difference between the 2 PC. In MP, it will be very frustrating for the people having the "biggest" one to be limited by weaklings.

I think the dark blue of french "Gendarmerie" color scheme will be better, well ... it's my opinion.

Buy it now ! Release 1.04 is great. Better than Demo was. You can play it on an old XP2000+, you can enjoy it at full on a Core Duo. But buy it now, so we can all play it together !

Vilas, it seems you updated your addons. Last downloaded vilas_mod from your site, february 11, 2007 was 30,6 Mb, now it is 29,8 Mb. I had last posted on your addons on Armed Assault.info at the same date. Could you tell us about the changes ? So we can follow your work and understand what's happening.

I am playing MP on OFP.info game server. As server is featuring CSLA2 Mod +release2, we got many games crashes for : 1° players not having CSLA2.2 2° player having others Mods such as FFUR, BAS or FDF 3° player using fancy stuffs such as ECP, FFUR effects, custom textures. Player's files are checked at each connection, showing content, and a message is displayed telling that CSLA2 Mod +release2 is needed to play. But when there are 20 players admin is a full time job, so I am looking for a mean to let play only players with right Mod and addons.
