Now make DayZ more immersive/hardcore and less focused on shoot'n'loot deathmatch. Maybe you can make somekind of Zombie camps so people don't feel safe and happy in open terrain/woods? And please make Zombie animals incl rabbits (!!) that will hunt & kill all players.... :) -
Without Ouzo + Sirtaki A3 is no true sim ... btw what about cats and dogs I heard that there are at least 20 of them in every greek town/village?

There are default missions and community made mp missions in A2OA - guess how long does it took for people to make their own missions because they got bored or didn't like default missions? Of course the Armaverse is less focused around fast paced kill-respawn-instant-action incl. Hollywood SFX. Imo it could be more important for BIS to make some userfriendly A3 mission tools/templates so more people are motivated to make something instead of moaning about how "evil BIS devs are towards certain crowd/scene/whatever". Of course first of all people have to get familiar with a game that is not just another fast-paced shooter, that A3 can be different to all what they have been playing before..... -

Again why should A3 try to "copy" other games - just for the sake of profit and to attract the mainstream crowd? Why are many players do only join servers with 20+ playing? Like I said there is nothing wrong to include 1-2 simple pvp missions but BIS should continue to create new missions that are different + challenging from what one can play in most/all shooters. I don't think that BIS is in desperate need of attracting anyone just to pay their bills or that they suddenly got greedy and going to sell small pieces of content via DLCs.... -

Would be great if players have something more to do than survive-kill-loot-respawn!! What about adding a more advanced faction that will randomly hunt/scare everyone? What about some invulnerable AI merchants/offices where you can buy/sell stuff? Imo the main task for every player should be to leave Chernarus via "Route Z" before darkness + agony will strike Chernarus again.....something that will make players think more before shooting each other 'just for looting' or/and 'killcount stats'. -

Lets say BIS will include 1-2 pvp missions just for the CoD/BF crowd - how long will it take before we will hear from this crowd that they got bored and that the game sucks? How many of them incl. OP do/will make their own missions or can be bothered to do something instead of moaning, crying and trying to show that its an "win-win for everyone" if BIS will do all the pvp missions/maps?? Would it be bad if BIS mission designers create something new and challenging using more than ~200x200m 'shoebox'/'kill' arenas? -
The underwater viewdistance seems to be too high in A3 compared to real diving/underwater activities. Just curious if we will see the refraction of light in A3 too?

What is the average time that people will "have to like & play" A3 default missions before they can make/play their own or other ones? Maybe BIS could add an awesome mission editing/scripting guide out-of-the-box incl. templates for everyone?? Of course if the majority of the pvp scene just want to be spoon-fed - BIS could announce an exclusive A3 PvP ultimate DLC map pack.... lets say for 13,37 Euro? -

Sorry but the Zombie-spawn triggers need some work!! From a certain distance you see none of them and within a certain range they suddenly spawn/blob all around.... or the trigger isn't working at all. Another big problem is that the time is not synced for all players so some are playing in bright daylight while others trying to survive/fight in the darkness of the night. -

Sorry but why has A3 to compete with shooters like CoD/BF? Is it really worth to get down to that low level of "just shootin fun" or is it better to have more challenging mission goals, more main/secondary tasks that have an impact on mission progress and less or no respawn/revive options?? Imho pvp is stuck in just copying/mixing old stuff and not doing enough to be more innovative and challenging. -
Thanks, first good luck with finals and later you may make another more stealthy mission for all who are interested. Just try to view the scenario from the OPFOR side too, eg better placed patrols, overlapping fire zones for static weapons, VIP + his guards drive away if alarm goes up, support/reinforce current position, search/"hunting" teams... :)

antoineflemming you mean "bringing up" aka spamming A3 pics/videos on forums/social media channels "wherever and whenever someone is talking about videogames, shooters, simulators, graphics, etc"? How is this not harming - maybe BIS got something different in mind with their A3 promo than this mass advertizing spam on all media channels done by other companies? As for 'word of mouth advertising' by forum users/fans - it would be for A3 most likely spreading rumors + speculations. Highly doubt that BIS is in a crisis or that there is a need for desperate spam/'spread the word' or "the task and duty" suggested by OP. -

There is a glitch with the chemlight after throwing one another one appears on the weapon but this one is not visible for player (no action menu either) himself only for others. Little confusing if one does not know that he "lights" himself up. Perhaps a fast call menu would be handy just to make people aware that there "Friendly, coming through!", "Don't shoot, friendly!", "I dare you, I double dare you....", "Mind your own business, move along!". Just thinking about trading or dealing with stuff - any plans for making a faction/group and stores or places for DayZ merchants? -

Why one should be bothered to convince someone else from a game that is not done yet? Naive fanboism or just in a desperate state of "Everyone has to know + like it!!" ? Let BIS choose how they want to present/promote their products instead of making it worse with annoying promo/picture/video spam and "like it" actions. -

Some people refuse to acknowledge that its up to the server admins to select the settings/missions and other needed/required stuff. He who pays the piper, calls the tune. -
Those anims could use a little more real world physics eg inertia so they won't look too gamey + instant/strange. Please don't add/force achievements/rewards XP like "faster/fluid animations", "supersteady aim" or any other of those "SergeantMasterSuperSpecialOperator" skills.....

Who needs friends/social contacts that spam/'spread the word' massively about a certain product? Does A3 really need such silly kind of promotion or is it better to make some great A3 ingame teasers/trailers that show the difference between dirty popcorn shooters and the glorious awesome Armaverse? ;) -
Just curious: if wind/storm and heavy rain/snow does have an effect on this SUAV? Or will it be useable/effective under any weather condition? Does the AI notice the RQ11 (as sound/object) if its flying low/very low?

@Black Russian sitting/using enemy vehicles is dangerous and the confusion is somewhat natural, unless you can communicate about it or use a common sign/signal to show its true faction/side. In most cases its healthier to avoid using enemy vehicles/stuff at all. ;) -

The A2OA military sim got side-tracked or ninja'd by spawning Zombies and casual "shoot on everything" DM gameplay. Maybe add something that will force all players to do something more than simple "kill to survive" mentality like a few primary/secondary tasks? Just something that wont make them feel too safe and comfortable beeing the good or the bad guy..... -
Well there is not so much of ingame interaction to see and some parts like walking/running bikini girl still look ermmm.... unrealistic + clunky. Btw aren't modern/future submarines/SDVs equipped with something like photonic/optronic mast? As for weapon scope views there is yet to find a good solution for a pc game/screen - focusing on a target through a telescopic sight with high magnification wont show you crystal clear view on other things (around the scope).

Good morning tremanarch - what if those screenshots are made with A3 "ambient/film filter" module? Such filters are already in A2OA.... :rolleyes: -
It can be still asymetric if you look at the greek resistance and the campaign where the player is left alone, somewhere stranded on Limnos..... imo those simple "blue vs red" missions/concepts are somewhat boring on the long run and can be mostly found in those all action, no substance games.
