So I want an AI patrol to patrol up and down a main road and I set them to safe mode, limited speed and staggered column (the correct formation for moving down roads) but they refuse to do any formation other than single file. anyone know a fix?

Hello, please will someone have a look at my mission and find out why the chopper will not pick us up at the start or pick us up at the finish? http://www.yourfilelink.com/get.php?fid=299940 It works flawlessly in singleplayer but in multiplayer the chopper just flies away. Please help.

hey what if some1 wanted to add rifles, rocket launches, greandes, ect to the vehicle? how could u fit it all into the init field of the vehicle? i want all the kit in my mission to be in the helicoptor so my team can gear up during the ride to the insertion point. any ideas how to do this please? -
the readme for Urban patorl script only assumes you will use it in singleplayer missions becuase it only links to your central scripts folder. does anyone know how to get UPS to work with the UPS script file in your mission folder? i'm asking this becuase I want to make multiplayer missions with UPS. I tried linking the script like this.... <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">"/missions/[mission name]/scripts/ups-f.sqf" .... diden't work.

nice one m8! it nearly worked. after looking at your changes i noticed the trigger at the extraction zone was not a switch trigger and not sync'd with the take off waypoint you put at the airfield at the start. after i corrected it, it worked flawlessly! thank you very much! -

basically i want the chopper to pick us up at the airport, take drop us off at the insertion point, then fly away far enough so it cannot be heard buzzing around throughout the mission, though if you can, please get it to land somewhere. Then finally on radio charlie i want the chopper to pick us up at the extraction zone and fly away. -

wow you've packed it up and all - you are godly! well i tested it in multiplayer with 3 guys and the pickup worked fine but the insertion was a little iffy. it hovered a little too high and 2 of us broke our legs from it. then later on in the mission as we were taking objective 2 we noticed the chopper had either crashed or been shot down close by to where the extraction point was. we had not called for extraction, by the way. please could you try to fix thse two little snags? thanks in advance. -
so after too long of boring extractions that have no interactive with i finally want to spice it up a bit. i've made an extraction request sound file that I want activated when I execute the radio alpha switch trigger. the chopper then comes and extracts my squad. however I only know how to add music files in the description.ext file. i managed to get the request radio messege working as a music track file but I want to be able to add music to the effects too. what do i type in the description.ext to add a custom radio voice file?

Make sure you have "misc/signal.sqf" in your Mission folder and it's better to save and load the Mission after you added something new. @HAILO Well pretty nice script. But would it be possible to create a "HeliHEmpty" in the Script after you marked the Pickup location so Helis could be land more exactly. it's in there. any other ideas? -

i'm getting a "script misc/signal.sqf cannot be found" error when i load the mission. i've typed it in right in the initilization field for my squad leader. help please. -
i plan on reformatting soon to try out partitioning arma for better performance. chri's tool will most likely work after a reformat. cheers for the info on html

Tried to use the 2 mods with it but it's not working... I have the mods installed in the the following way: (modname)/AddOns/(modfiles) ... And I link ArmA Launcher to them in the following way: (modname)/ I tried doing it (modname)/AddOns/ but that diden't work either. I read the ArmA launcher readme and AFAIK I am following it's instructions perfectly. Any ideas?

what is "intro", "outro win" & "outro loo

I presume they are the make cutscenes but when I select one of them, the mission editor options are the same. What are they for and how do I create intro scenes like zooming out the map, ect? -

Set chopper's fuel to 0. I used to be able to do this sort of thing in OpFlash but that was many years ago. I'm slowly regaining my basic mission editor knowledge and I'm now stuck on how to make an AI squad load into a blackhawk then have the blackhawk transport them to the LZ and then the squad get out and carry on. I've tried for hours now. Syncronizing, ect.... nothing works. Please help.
