The DBPowerAmp works just fine...but I suggest getting Wavesurfer http://www.speech.kth.se/wavesurfer/download.html The only reason I suggest it...because PowerAmp is one of those prog's that likes to take over your comp...changing icons, showing in sys tray, adding tons of shortcuts, etc....I know you can change all that back but its just kinda annoying. In my opinion Wavesurfer is much easier to work with...but thats just me.

Ahh..got the video to work. Thats funny stuff denoir...I like how it was in sync with the music...hehe. So did it ever learn to walk without using the crutches at all? -EDIT- Ahh...I see you said earlier that it did learn, thats pretty sweet man. I had trouble playing the video of your bot Denoir...I think its my media player though...prob need some codecs or something. Pretty cool idea though...I also liked the name you gave it..Bastardo..hehe. And about those Honda bots...I believe thats also what they are currently using in that project to make an all robot soccer team.

I think what I find worse than stealing is vandalism without even taking anything. Ive had my vehicle's windows broken out before and they didnt even take anything. I mean..how much of a pussie can you possibly be...if you're gonna do it then DO IT. At least vandalise enough so that I can collect some insurance or something. And on a side note- I just love those people who advertise with window stickers on what kinda system they have in thier car...its like saying STEAL ME STEAL ME!

There is just too much here for me to begin, plus most everything has already been said...so ill just say simply that I do think that there is at least some kind of life out there (most likely not the way everyone pictures it...but wouldnt that be cool! ). But here is the main reason I decided to reply...at the start of this thread someone asked if anyone had seen the movie SIGNS. Well I've got to say that was such a huge disappointment. I'm really into that sort of thing but the movie was done so horribly. I mean come on...these aliens are smart enough to create ships to travel all the way to earth but they had no idea that something that could kill them (water) was quite abundant here. What was the reason that they retreated so quickly...did it rain. That director always makes movies with so much potential...but always falls short and ruins them. Sorry...that was a little off from what you guys have been talking about but I thought it would fit better here than to start a new topic...and I just had to. Â

Was just curious if there was any way to make the game time the same as your system time. I thought I remember seeing someone talking about that a long long time ago - (I tried searching this board but "system" and "time" come up with a mess of things).

Thats completely ridiculous, hehe. You guys seen the sample video for it? Â Shows a guys putting it on real quick in his car...like the bullets won't just hit his face. Ill make sure to go pick up one of those along with my LifeMask and LifeCup.

When I use autosave with scripting or when the player decides to save the game some problems occur. It seems like some of the things ive scripted the level to do gets forgotten. For example, when you first play the level soldiers have specific faces using the "setface" command....but when you load the level with "retry" or "load" it doesnt remember them, and just gives them random faces. Thanks for any ideas.

I messed around with that myself before...and I found that the best thing to do in order for choppers to kill infantry was to put a couple of vehicles in there with them. When they go to destroy the vehicles they will end up killing soldiers with missed shots or any soldiers within the blast radius. Having vehicles may not fit in with your mission but not sure what else you can do. Oh..and make sure to have the choppers skill level all the way up so that it can start aiming from a further distance. Â -Good Luck.

So has no one ever had this problem before or is it just that no one knows how to do anything about it. Im just curious if im all alone here on this one. Ive solved the problem to an extent...I just have a guy constantly walk over a trigger that runs the setface script...but I shouldnt have to do that...It would be nice to know why exactly this problem is occuring.

Hey, did any of you guys ever have "OK" brand soda. It was like some project coca cola had years back. It was only sold to certain areas so maybe some of you never heard of it.I thought it was a pretty good drink, plus it had a real funny advertising campaign. I would have to agree with Aculaud, what else can they really do with The Matrix. The problem has been solved. What they should do is release a version of the original movie with the dumbass ending cut out, that was one of the gayest endings to one of the coolest movies(him flying away). It looked totally stupid and they should apologize. Other than that and the fact that they were creating power from humans didnt make any sense the movie kicked some major ass. It would be very hard to make a sequal in my opinion. I am looking forward to another 007 though, those movies are always pretty sweet. As for Episode II Attack of the Clones, not lookin forward whatsoever. The name sucks,for one, but besides that it will probably be like the previous and not follow the last three episodes at all. Plus on top of it ill be hearing dorks talk about how much it sucked for months and months to come. Blah

I thought I saw someone talking about making Peter Pan faces for flashpoint (R. Gerschwarzenge maybe?) . I assume you are talking about that fruitcake that has a site where he dresses up in peterpan/fairy outfits for, well, I have no idea why it is done, but its freakin funny. I was just wondering if these faces were goin to be made, that would be hillarious. See, back in my senior year at high school (last year) someone showed my the site that guy has. I couldnt stop laughin man. Anyway, we made like hundreds and hundreds of copies of the pics and filled up everyones account on the school network with them. It was goin great until I got caught handing out account passwords to everyone in the hallway (ahh, good memories). I have given all the enemy the bin laden face. There is a short intro right at the start of the mission. After the scene I have it auto save for you so you dont have to watch it everytime you die...everything ok. But if you die and start out from the autosave it doesnt give the enemy the bin laden face, though it gives them the weapons ive assigned through the same script as the faces should be called from. Whats the deal?

Yeah, if they ever tour again, you should really check it out...its like no show you have ever seen before. But if you ever get a chance to check it out i suggest wearing your worst clothes...it get really messy. They usually pick various stars or people in the news that are generally hated(and of course fit in with the song), make life size mechanical versions of them, and kill em. The "puppets" are fitted with hidden hoses that spew fake blood and such all over the audience. The show I went to featured Mike Tyson, Osama Pinyada, and Gor Gor (it was the size of the whole stage! ), to name a few. It was definately the funniest show I have ever seen Â

And if you still cant get it to work...there is even a breifing and overview generator that does everything for you,just type in what you want and it puts it in the html format....sorry but I dont know where to find it but its out there,just do a little searching.
