I find it odd that many people are complaining about shotgun MGs while the true (auto)shotgun is MP-44. I mean it has great accuracy for automatic weapon, nice 30 rounds mag and more power than other smgs. In narrow maps it's the ultimate weapon. I remember capturing all points and killing all allies I saw along the way with another MP-44 player, in less than one minute.

Try to turn off the engine right after landing and breaking all the time. Helps quite a lot for me.

Maybe an option which disables this, just like in BAS' Blackhawks addon where you can disable the scripts . And a suggestion for next version, zombie soldiers. Would be nice to see some zombified soldiers that fire with their weapons very inaccurately. With new anims of course, for example using only right hand when using a rifle etc.

AFAIK special effects are animated textures, and currently only water textures are animated.

Biggest textures I've seen for OFP are 1024x1024, so I don't think there's any change in 4096x4096 mode for example. Unless some day someone converts OFP to 4096x4096 textures .

Thanks . I was modding some stuff for FDF mod when I just accidentaly looked out of the window and saw the blue red sky. So it's almost always about being in the right place at the right moment . *EDIT* Another view to this same lake:

I joined the wonderful world of OFP when 0.36 demo was released. I didn't feel so good and I took a day of from school . Then I decided to download the demo, and since then I've been playing or editing for OFP. My first success in addon making was Resistance BMP2 which was a remake of dberka's Resistance BMP. And it even made to OFP-info's addons section . Then in spring 2003 I joined FDF mod and became one its texture makers. It all began when I tried to retexture Sigma's T72M1 to finnish colours, it was also the first time I really tried to use Photoshop's features in texture making. Then in few weeks I learned how to make good textures from scratch . In case someone is interested here's full list of things I made or edited textures for: BMP1, BMP2, T72M1, T55M, T54, Leopard 2, ItPsv 90, CV9030, BTR-60, R-Vene, bicycle, reservists, Masi, Rasi + some new thingies that will be in 1.3 .

Like Kegetys said, reskinning was possible before those tools. I remember reading tutorials about hex-editing and viewing new textures in mission overview window .

Here's a small hint how to get good textures: take photos of real well painted WH40K miniatures. For example basic Imperial tanks have quite flat surfaces so taking photos shouldn't be a problem. I took some photos of my Dark Angels units and they could have been used for textures (don't ask them because I don't have them anymore).

Church A crappy foto I took, it's a small Schlosskirche ("castle church") here. Some later goth style with full moon . Sometimes making a church can have odd consequences .

Could it be possible to make a forum section for screenshots, with maybe sticky threads for different picture gategories . Or then perhaps make those sticky threads to 'General discussion'.

If it was a lie, then why Soviet Union didn't complain about it ? (besides the possible propaganda). I mean they would have certainly said that it's a fake, but no they admitted that this time US won. *edit* Oops Cephalid said this already, but lets repeat it.

Memory point named 'kulas' is for MG and 'konec hlavne' & 'usti hlavne' for main gun. Now if you make it so that the main gun shoots "bullets" (no explosions etc.) and add second muzzle flash with simple script, it may work. Haven't tried it though .
