Hey, im looking for the script that handles the landing autopilot function. I searched nearly everywhere in the ArmA folder and depbo´ed alot of pbo´s already, but didnt have any success Maybe one of you can help me

one question: does the installer overwrite game files or just install independent addons? Just tried to install it to an empty folder but I got an error message

one little suggestion that could improve at least the "feeling and atmosphere" of arma: Is it possible to make all weapons throw up more dust? I noticed on a lot of iraq-war videos that there is smoke everywhere during a firefight. Not just from the weapons but also from the bulletimpacts into buildings and ground. Same thing with the guns of the tanks and helicopters. Just a lot more dust that stays also for a longer time would enhance the feeling. to the ones the were at the Digitex: Do you know anything about the specifications or the PC´s components that were used at the presentation? Im curious because of the excellent framerate in the video with the huge forest. I hope BIS overworked the game engine so that we dont get these lags like on North-Sahrani.

@Shadow: Nobody knows who the devil was and if he died - we just heard that russian soldiers entered his radiostation and that there was a shooting. The devil had some kind of english accent and he has nothing to do with CWR but with Resistance @Staos: Because Jerry is now the "hotshot reporter" and not he anymore

hmm thinking about all of this: It must be the virtual equivalent to Jerry Hopper. He knows everything, talks strange, is a radiomoderator and is crazy! (no I´m not talking about Jerry, this is the description of good old TASMANIAN DEVIL ) It must be him!

hey its me again well i played alot now and didnt have any CTDs yet, but instead my brother got 3 while playing CTI with me. I was the Server and he always crashed about 5 minutes after start. We also tried a coop but same result. Is there anything I can do to find out whats the problem?

first let me say that this is the best mod EVER made for OFP. The whole atmoshpere is exactly what I would wish for all future ArmA-Games. I just played the first mission of the CWC campaign. Normally it takes 10 minutes to get into Morton and complete the mission, but now... our squad first waited for the Apache to engange the armored targets and it was a pleasure to see those great fire and smoke effects. Then after getting order from HQ we enganged the city together with Bravo squad and it was just fantastic! Long firefights, great atmoshpere and even a tactical reteat of my leader. The russians recognized this chance and counterattacked US! This was AWESOME I can´t wait to play all 3 campaigns again THX for this great modification PS: I got a CTD just after I provided first aid to a POW. Dunno if it had something to do with the CTD but better I mention it here. I will try to find out exactly when this happens

Hey guys... about 6 days ago, ArmA2 was announced - but doesn´t something miss? - Ahh yes! Where are the News? I thought ArmA2 was presented there - so where are the people who saw it and can tell us something about the game?

well i guess we all know that BIS won´t change their habits and will keep on developing ArmA mostly as infantry simulator. I personally find this really sad but I dont understand why they don´t create a platform for the comm to change this. Sure there is the editor and O2 and all that stuff. But even with those tools we cant change some engine-based discrepancies like the unusable aircraft cockpits or the physics in vehicles (like cargoareas of vehicles). I wish they would just develop the engine as realistic as they can, add a big island, some demomodels and just sell it and forget about unnecessary things like Campaigns and SP-/MP-Missions. A very good example of what i mean would be the Flightsimulator series. Anyone who has used this sim once, knows that it is not very complex by default. But the community did some very impressive things. A company called PMDG for example, managed to implement a ultrarealistic B747 cockpit and up to 95% of the cockpit were modeled and usable like in reallife! (In comparison with a default FS2004 cockpit: A B737 cockpit has not many more features than a simple Cessna! Thats what i mean with demomodels. So please BIS, implement for example such an (customizable) interiorsystem for vehicles like in Flightsim! And as I said you don´t even have to care about perfect reallifecopies of vehicles. Just add some demovehicles and let the rest be our problem.

from the verry little I know about modelling, i think in order to change the muzzle flash you would have to open the M136 model and put the right muzzle flash behind the M136. About the smoke: I absolutely don´t know anything about changing the smoke

hey, i view the preview video of the cargo system and i´m really impressed - very good work and above all a simple but innovative idea I noticed also that you used the standard resources from ArmA. Can you tell me where you got them from? I would like to create some dialogs and use the same colors, buttons and frames as BIS and you did.
