I would love to see an RAF Sea King helicopter. It's such an awesome machine and would be soooo good to have on there.

Oops, sorry guys - didn't see that topic.

I'm just wondering if there is a Sea King mod/addon for ArmA yet? It's such an awesome helicopter and would make a great addition to the game.

I've just bought an NVidia XFX 8800 GTS XT (although it's not arrived yet) and am wondering just how well it will perform compared to my 8600GTS? I've heard a lot of complaints about the 8800 and arma, but my 8600 has been working absolutely fine. I'm a touch worried that i've just shelled out on an expensive graphics card and that i'm not going to see any improvement in my graphics within arma. I'm sure I remember seeing a lot of these issues before the 1.08 patch, so does anybody know if 1.08 addressed any of the stability issues that arise with the 8800? (the rest of my system is pretty solid; Core 2 Duo Conroe E6600 2x2.4GHz 2Gigs of Corsair Ram E-MU 1212m Soundcard)

Well, I got home from work today and they'd sent me all the codes I needed. So kudos to softwrap for such speedy service!

yes, but the problem is that i'm on a new computer now and the email with that information is now gone.

After buying ArmA not so long ago, It soon became apparent that it wouldn't work on my pc, so i bought a new one, which in turn led me to losing my activation code etc etc, now i'm not asking you lot to give me yours...that'd be silly... but when i try to click "lost licensing details" when i run ArmA and put in my email - it says they can't find me on their system! Help? I really can't afford to buy it again after buying a new computer to play it!

Again, those are consumer cards though and tend to be more geared towards games & movies and general multimedia than professional cards are - so although support for pro cards & the software that they're meant to work with is absolutely top notch, i find support for games to be pretty poor.

Audio quality. The 1212m uses Pro-Tools HD192 A/D & D/A converters, which are among the VERY best out there - for a pro tools core card you're looking at a minimum of 5 grand, and anything upto 10 grand. The 1212m is just fantastic value for money in terms of audio quality & in/out options - it even supports AES/EBU & there's an optional daughter card for wordsync.

Ok, so being a (music) producer, I use a high end soundcard - but have found that on a handful of games it doesn't work. It's an E-MU 1212m, and although it's a company owned by creative professional, i'm wondering if ArmA will run on it? Anyone care to shed any light on the matter? I'm not going to downgrade my audio card to a x-fi or whatever it is.

Crap, I didn't realise this topic was for posting your setups etc etc... I ordered my new computer today; Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 (2 x 2.4GHz) 2 Gigs of Corsair Ram 250gig SATA II hard drive NVidia 256Mb 8600GTS Graphics card E-MU 1212m Soundcard (craps on all consumer cards like the x-fi range) Any ideas on how this will handle ArmA? I'd like to know what i can expect from it.

lol, was gonna say!! I was very impressed by the site - so much so that within 5 minutes of reading it, i'd bought the game.
