    The Laser Designator Thing

  2. I am just creating a Mission that requires LD. In OFP ... Well: I ve never played MP in OFP because I had no internet this time ... there you had a LD and you were able to target something by just firing. Because I never created MP-Mission I didnt care about how to target the LD-'Thing' yourself - I only knew you could access it via 'nearestObject "LaserDesignatorTarget"', or something similar. Whatsoever: In Arma I wonder if it's normal that your 'LD' is a invisible truc which you can only look-trough and not 'just hold it in your hand'. Furthermore, it looks pretty stupid seeing other guys holding that invisible thing in their hands. Is that normal? And if you fly a plane and someone 'shoots' the LD - how can you target that thing? A further (third) question: I wonder how you can target things if you are in a jet or a helicopter!!! It's almost impossible to target a target which you cannot access via the 'Select next target'-button. So if you have to target a enemy T72 which isnt displayed red - because it doesnt move - or a house you have to destroy: I can find NO WAY to target it! You understand my problem ?     Maybe there is a tool to disable Sprites somewhere in the www. But if - i dont know it. Try to search it or try If 3da can help you.

    I removed the CFG. Still. It seems like noone can seee my server. Maybe nobody wants to join in 20 minutes - but i cannot imagine

    Gun view movement is "TERRIBLE"

    I thing the way the gun movement is simulated in Arma/OFP is a lot more realistic than that in other games. I had probles when I started from OFP, too - but i got used too. <- Dont know any way to convert it

When the mission starts, you are in your transporter (a BMP-2 and a Stryker) and get told that you contact with a enemy tank a few meters away. See the Briefing for more This is my first Mission I ever made for MP, so it is not so large. I hope that it is fun to play it anyway. I hope the timelimit thing works if you enable it. I have never tried. Play the mission a few times to get used to the environment. Unfortunally I was not able to set up fog. This doesnt seem to work in MP-Games :/. PS: Dont leave the mission-area.     Thanks, good site. I'll try to update the version there if there is anything to change (Can somebody PM me telling me how I can ajust the thing there?)     Never mind! But keep in mind: CHOOSE !NOT! TO COMPRESS SQS & SQM FILES IN THE PROPERTIES-DIALOG OF THE PBO-MAKER 1.1! IF YOU COMPRESS SQS THEY WILL NOT WORK!
