They put chin-straps on the OPFOR units as well as noticable helmet fittings! Thank you BIS! Edit: Now that I am looking at both models at the sametime, I notice the attention to detail BIS implemented. Good job developers!

Hey York, I think all models are designed to fit vehicles...lol. I personally love the BAS models. If you don't play MP, then go with Operation FacePlant. They are both good IMO. They are both as authentic as it can get.

Bug in the Ural, I dubbed this one...The 3 Stoogies. -
Hey Dante, the textures are superb. I got to criticize the model itself. It looks Post-Apocalyptic. I love this genre of Sci-Fi, but I am not sure if this is what you're aiming for. Also, it kind of looks like how a tank would look in a WWI parallel universe.

Correct, the same computer that hosted a server with an IP and sockets that was shared over the internet is the same one that is now a dedicated server. JW: Makes sense, but it still doesn't occupy logic.

Great, I'll check these out in a bit.

Negative. Picture looks nice!

Good point. A good example was the Battle of the Buldge when the US was out-numbered (3-1), out-teched and surprise on Nazi Germany's last attempt. Remember that thousands of Germans were civilians though. Also the Zulu's against the Englishmen (Englishmen were well-out-numbered though)

Quick question, I hosted a game once on my computer while I was connected straight to the cable modem. The speed was surprisingly fast for my friend and I. The weird thing is that I made a computer here into a dedicated server connected to a router with the open ports, but my ping reaches 300. My question is, why was the server faster when I created it on the same computer I was playing OFP then it is on a dedicated server?
-
Thanks for your response! Where do I put the -mod= at? The .bat or .exe? Also, my characters voice keeps changing over the radio in the game, is this normal?
-
Wut meenz... Edit: So...community great community...lets talk about something productive, yes?

how did I miss that? cant find it updated on any site........Nevermind....I'm a idiot Don't worry buddy, you will redeem yourself.

You're not the only one. Had to install Planetside into my computer though...a friend who moved to another city thought it was the best way to 'communicate'...lol (he doesn't have patience for OFP1).

Don't know about you guys, but I always liked the US vs Russia/USSR concept.
-
I agree! BIS should remove other useless animations, like steering wheel movement, wheel movement on vehicles, water wave effects, tree movements (did fine in OFP) and leg animations. Hell, we can run like Gumby, right guys? Its not a simulation or anything... Edit:/sarcasm...for the few
-
Haha. Coming from the server host, "Sorry guys you got to download a 20KB file that is required to play on this server...it adds a chin-strap to the OPFOR..."

France, UK, US and Germany's modern day tanks have always been considered an equal tie. The US has, for the longest time, spent the most money on its military and its technologies. "The United States military budget is larger than the military budgets of the next twenty largest spenders combined, and six times larger than China's, which places second". Right now the US is in the middle of a huge change, especially in technology. Since our technology was some of the worlds best, think of what a big change will bring. Also, the US technology is the most used around the world as many other militarys have adopted our stuff. M1311, F-16, Humvees and M-4s to name a few. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_of_the_United_States
