    FFUR - Huge Release !!

You know what b_ringer, I was wondering about the same thing. I noticed the humvees are still in green camo too along with a few other things. A lot of upcoming wars/battles are going to be fought in the sand pits so why not emphasize on it, right?

    Air Force Combat Uniform

I got some good pictures for comparison! U.S. Air Force Then (Prototype) U.S. Air Force Now (Finalized) You notice how closely they resemble the ACU? Even the foilage undershirt. U.S. Navy Would resemble a "what if" urbanized varient of the MARPAT.

    Air Force Combat Uniform

tankieboy Haha, sorry Tankieboy. I am not used to being in a largly multi-national forum (was an avid America's Army poster). I thought about it when I had already hit the submit button. para-trooper The U.S. Navy temperary adopted the Marines MARPAT, both desert and woodland. I have seen some pictures of the new U.S. Navy combat uniforms. All I can say is that these guys would only be safe at sea-ports. It would make perfect sense that it would be the urbanized varient of MARPAT since they Marines don't have one yet...who knows. The U.S. Air Force uniform has a large number of light foilage like greenish-blue on their uniform to go insync with the sky or air base. Sounds silly but I have been reading that all branches are proud of their differences. The U.S. Air Force implemented to much on it's heritage instead of being realistic. Now they have to get desert and woodland varients (I still don't know if this one is univeral). A lot of Airmen wanted the Air Force to adopt the ACUs as they found it reliable. You should have seen the first prototype...looked like a Hawiian shirt. They even made jokes of it by having an image that compared. Because of all this publicity, the U.S. Air Force made it considerably like the ACU. NSX I will look forward in doing that, thank you.

    FFUR - Huge Release !!

The M113 is still in service today since the 1960's. It is like the M16, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Don't get me wrong, they should still leave the M113 vehicle without a doubt. They should just add a Stryker. Especially under Groups, Mechanized Infantry in the Mission Editor. All Brigade Combat Teams in the U.S. (more newer integrated mechanized force) all use Strykers. This should help out for great modern war mods like FFUR: http://www.army.mil/fact_files_site/ They already have about 80% of the stuff down which I am overly pleased with. You know the M40/M42 Field Protective Mask would be cool to add on models. I know the UHK models allows us to take helmets off and replace them with a berets and also paint faces. I bet FFUR modders can easily add an on/off feature on the action list for the Field Protective Mask. I know it sounds useless with the addition and removal of goggles, but a lot of BIS/BIA players play these games to role play as a Soldier. Yes, I do find myself positioning my model to sit down and look at the sun set or salute the flag/officers. Why can't my assault rifle/machine gunners put on their goggles in the heat of a battle or gas masks to make believe their are deadly chemicals? I download these mods/add-ons to play as a soldier from an era or foreign military. I spend a lot of time on looking at how cool models look from these talented guys. I would like to see them with gear that is also avaible in the real world. A lot of OFP players like to take screen shots and post them. This is because of OFPs constant add-ons. We like to see nice screen shots of new things or just screen shots that like really awesome. It would be cool to screen shot a platoon wearing gas masks walking down the desert ala Jarhead. Haha. I don't know, that is just the beauty of BIS/BIA games thanks to the breakthrough of OFP. The game we have yet to see any limits on. Remember, the innovation of OFP is the additions.

    A Mod thats Good

I forgot to mention that the news discusses about states utilizing the National Guard on borders. Of course this has been on the news off and on. But it would be legit to add Guardsmen into it. I think Arizona already has some units in action actively. They said that they are even willing to pay them. Go Fighting 36th!

    A Mod thats Good

That seems like a pretty original concept Danny. I especially like the whole map of South Texas and Northern Mexico idea. I am from McAllen / Born and raised in Rio Grande City. It would be interesting to see these cities being implemented. Most conflict are within the borders of Texas-Mexico and California-Mexico. Â

    Air Force Combat Uniform

I forgot to mention that this picture shows that it looks like it has common tiger-stripe camoflauge. Closer, better lit pictures will show you that it is a little more lighter and actually digitized. Basically, think about it as the ACUs but with less foilage (greyish color), a little darker, and in tiger stripe pattern.

    FFUR - Huge Release !!

Landwarrior, it is on the action menu (if you mean the one that has reload, sit, salute...etc...) for some other models other than these. I believe the HYK U.S. Infantry models and BAS DERA Troops had it.

    FFUR - Huge Release !!

I got a couple of things that would be nice for your FFUR updates. -RG-31 Mine Protective Vehicle -Strykers -Khaki/Tan gloves -Shoulder kevlar on ACU models -ACU Vest (Woodland is kind of outdated, you did a good job on the Officer model on FFUR2006 when it came to the ACU Vest, all other models had woodland camo) -ACU is made specific so that the collar won't get in the way of the kevlar vests around the neck. They are able to fold up to create a ring around the neck. You can kind of see it on the last image. ----Other then that, the model is almost perfect. I like the ACU hydration system you added along with the obvious knee pads. Great job! [Photos sourced from www.army.mil]

    BIS...perfect Game company?

I agree with SnypaUK. BIS/BIA are both magnificient companies. Thanks to these companies, especially BIS, I don't bother reading reviews to other games and buying other games hoping they are good along with their community. BIS and it's community has set my standard and not only standard but my base in what I play. BIS has done a stunning job in keeping up with the community through the entire time of OFP exsistence. They have done a great job in keeping www.flashpoint1985.com updated throughout the years. The community is remarkable as well. Dedicated mature players is what makes games even better. The mod community never slowed down and has been committed since the beginning. I thank you all for that, I really do appreciate you all helping BIS/BIA out considerably. I play no other game but BIS/BIA developed games/simulations. I stopped collecting military miniatures and figures because of this game. You view military vehicles, weapons, uniforms in true 3D and you can actually play them as well. Thanks again to the add-on community, I can view technology in digitized medium from the past such as the Revolutionary War and the Civil War and not only that but the technologies of other foreign militaries other then my own. I saw a 12:00 long trailer for this Star Wars Mod which takes everything to a entirely new level of experience. This game is nicely and easily modified for long, long replay value. Their products are so unique and superb that I don't bother with any other game. BIA added much to this splendid outcome of mine with the simulation VBS1. This should better my training as a cadet and ready myself that extra mile as an officer in the National Guard. Thanks to OFP2, ArmA, VBS1, VBS2+add-on, my library will increase making it a supreme franchise. The basis of OFP has combined many, if not, all, of my favorite genres in one software package. Need I say more?

    Persistent Universe

Hope for the best and this would highly be it. This persistent universe is a magnificient idea and should be deepy considered. I will support it with what time I would have with Armed Assault. Peace and War time within the game of this stature would be a semi-revolution in gaming.

    Wheels

Do racing wheels work well in OFP? Is it possible to keep a joystick, wheel, mouse and keyboard connected at the same time so I can use them when needed during OFP? Would I just need the needed amount of USB plugs? I want to buy this one: http://www.logitech.com/index.c....ID=6030 Before I buy it I want to hear feedback from the OFP community. I really would appreciate it.
